I am headed to The World in a month for 5 nights! We currently have 3 signatures booked, Jiko, Il Mulino and Flying Fish. It seems as though lately the feelings about Jiko have not been so great due to a new chef and menu changes, and I am now rethinking my choice. So I want to know what the best signature would be for me to replace Jiko? (Let me know also if it is still awesome and I should keep it!)

It is just my husband and I, we are 27 and 28. We are real foodies, love all kinds of food! Just not a huge fan of "plain" meat and potato type stuff. Steak is ok, as long as it's different and interesting. (hence the trip to Flying Fish for the steak with sauce and the snapper;) We are not on the dining plan. Cost really isn't a factor. Cali Grill is pretty booked up, so if you vote for that, maybe also vote for another! (V&A is booked also) Thanks so much!!! :surfweb:

After V&A bluezoo is my favorite. It's better than Flying Fish (and I like Flying Fish).

I really dislike Todd English, most of his restaurants are not all that great, but Blue Zoo is very good IMO.

I wish the several he has had in my area were even half as good as Blue Zoo.

I voted to keep Jiko (although I do recommend bluezoo and Citricos as well). It's my favorite place at WDW and I can't imagine it has declined that much since April 2010 (the last time I was there). In addition, it has a fabulous wine list - all South African wines, with many that are not available anywhere else in the United States. If you are into wine, that alone is reason enough to try it out.

I would keep jiko for the delicious curry butter and wine alone!!! If you still aren't sure then personally I would do Citricos or Blue zoo. We are trying Il Mulino for the first time in January the night before the marathon for DH to get his carbs in so if you have a chance to post about how it was please do!!!!

thanks so much for all the responses!!! Keeping Jiko seems to be the most popular answer, but if we keep it I would now love to fit bluezoo in somewhere! :confused3

I would keep Jiko or if you really want to try something different go over to Kidani Village and try Sanaa. It is not a signature restaurant but it is fantastic. I found it much better than some signature restaurants.

I voted CA Grill 1st & then Artist Point. CA Grill is just amazing - wonderful food, atmosphere, service, everytime we've been. They have such an eclectic menu too that it's so easy to find a fun & different meal there. It is our one must do dinner (Brown Derby is a must do lunch for us). Either way, have an awesome trip!! We're also 28 (me) & 27 (DH) and heading down in 11 days!! :cool1:
