What women in their 40s+ still have a soft, feminine quality about them?

All of the women mentioned were driven and aggressive. They wouldn't be in Hollywood if they weren't.

These women are or were older and feminine (IMO)

Blythe Danner....
Princess Grace...
Isabella Rossellini...
Laura Bush....
Tipper Gore...

I don't get it. I mean, I get it, but I'm trying to figure out why a driven, aggressive woman is a bad thing. I know no one *said* outright it was a bad thing, but that's clearly the connotation to many of the posts. I feel like I've stepped into a discussion of desirable qualities in a Jane Austin heroine.
I, for one, would never have married an "driven, aggressive" woman. I wanted a woman to love and be loved by, and a mother for our children - not an alpha male.

I do not think poorly of women with alpha personalities, but I am not attracted to them in the least...
