What will you do if you see (or think you see) someone from the podcast team?

Me? I think I would pee my pants but I MIGHT be too shy to approach them (especially if I'm not sure).....Unless I'm in Epcot and I've had a sip or two. With the exception of John, I've seen a pic of everyone so kinda have an idea of what they look like. I was really looking forward to seeking out Bawb. I would have forced myself to go up and say "Hi!"....with my posse of 2 as backup of course. I've always envisioned myself running up to Kevin screaming "Kevin! Kevin! I'm your BIGGEST fan!"...like he did to Samantha Brown. Have you guys thought about what it'll be like for them on the cruise? Have they?! I can see them running into adoring fans at every corner. It would be weird/awkward to be around so many who know your name but you have no idea who they are except for that they're DISers. Anyway, what would YOU do if you saw Pete/Walter, Julie/CorEy, Kevin/John or Will (sans Mindy and her daughter) in the parks?

Come to think of it, I did get a hug from Will at the May 4th M&G. Have to be careful not to squeeze to hard when seeing Will. Don't want to break one of his ribs. (Will, you know I love ya!)

If I was really really sure that it was a Podcast Teamster I might (big might since I can be pretty shy around people I don't know) approach them and thank them for putting together such a great podcast. I'd love to have a picture made with them but would understand if they said no (I'd probably still pout a little and possibly even stomp my feet a little while promising to show noone).

But more than likely I'd just stare, point and stare some more.

I'm pretty sure that I saw Bawb last December on his kartkam. I smiled. He smiled. I wasn't sure. I moved on. Wish I had asked "Are you, by any chance, Bawb on the Dis?"

When I got home from my trip, I looked up his picture. I'm pretty sure that it was Bawb.

If you are wearing your Dis shirt, the pod team might just approach you. And you don't have to worry about approaching them. But then you have to worry that these wonderful "celebrities" approached you and now what do you do.

I would like to think that if I ever had the privilege I would be myself....while jumping for joy inside that I met the Pod Squad. I would want a picture but probably be too nervous to ask, so I would just complain about that later to my husband. Quick story.... I met the weatherman of our local news at the school I was working at. Everyone female must have been in the school office waiting to meet him. I was the envy of them because I had to walk him to the computer room to look at the weather equipment. I had the camera in my pocket and never pulled it out. All I have is the memory of meeting our local celebrity...oh and an email from him. (I sent a thank you email for coming to visit the school.) So basically this is the same thing....the pod squad is famous but not quite Hollywood famous (yet).

When you listen to them each week, they sound so nice and wonderful and true. How many actors seem wonderful on screen but in real life they are mean. The Pod Squad doesn't seem like that at all. Just remember that this is "new" to them as well and the thought that we think of them as "celebrities" probably overwhelms them too.

So if you do ever see them, just look at what they are doing. If they look like they are very busy, then maybe that is not the time to say hi. HOWEVER, if they are sitting on a bench eating a dole whip then it is probably okay. You could always "run" into one of them and that would start a conversation....just be mindful of the dole whip.

I have met most of the podcast crew at the May DisMeet and they were very nice.

Kevin, of course, gave me a big hug and I shook hands with everybody else (John, Corey, Julie, Will).

It was really neat meeting them because they feel like family after listening to them and chatting with them for so long.

I hope that you are lucky enough to meet them someday.

Pete - Brown eyes and hair (with a full head of hair), wearing a Hawaiian Tommy Bahama-type shirt, khaki shorts and sandals.

John - Hazel eyes and dark brown hair (receding hairline, but still full on the sides and back) wearing very conservative clothing, collared golf-type shirt, khaki slacks and brown dress shoes.

I am SO "my Mother's daughter!" As kids we used to laugh that any time we went to Disneyland we would know the life story of the people in front and back of us in the line by the time we rode each ride.
