We will be there 11/17 to 11/24!
Thanks! pirate:

Who knows? We haven't had forcasts that far out yet. There is a Pacific Storm headed for WA and OR - do not know if it will impact us or not. It has been cool at night (jacket weather) - and low 70s during the day. It all depends on how far south the storm tracks.

Hey, Mom! We'll be there at the same time.

Will you be wearing the green Mickey paint chip ears somewhere? I was thinking of putting one on my lanyard.

:lovestruc I live about an hour away from DLand and its nice during the day but it gets cold at night

YES definately be prepared to take a jacket with you. You will freeze to death at night if you dont.

Thnaks everyone. I have no idea about your weather-we are into the 30s at night and 50s by day!

Yes, it is a DIS board thing. :thumbsup2

You can pick up a lime green Mickey ears paint chip at your local Home Depot in the paint department. Then you could laminate it (if you want) and hot glue it to a bag. Or you could have it made into a pin and wear it on your shirt, or whatever you want. :sunny:

Its like predicting the outcome of a basketball game :)

Albort you are too funny! It is so amazing to me that so many travelers think locals can predict the future weather in SoCal. Heck even our meteorologists can't do that with a high level of accuracy - especially in the winter season when things are so unpredictable.

I wasn't asking for specifics-of course no one can say for sure, but if you asked me what to expect here in PA in a few weeks, I'd be able to tell you it'll be heavy coat weather!

SoCal isn't like that. Our winters are very unpredicable. One day its hot the next its cold. OUr daily weather predicions are often wrong in the winter. We don't even know yet if it will be a heavy rain season or a light rain season. Sorry but predicting winter weather here is a crap shoot. Try searching online for average temps maybe that will be of some help.

I thought "it never rains in California" :rotfl2:

It is sad to see many people come to DL in shorts, tank tops, and flip flops during the cooler periods and find themselves freezing all day long - and all night. You can see the misery on their faces and the goosebumps on their arms.

It does indeed rain in S CA. And predicting winter weather (along with fall and spring) is pretty much impossible (you might as well pick the winner of a horse race based on the colors the jockey is wearing). We don't ever put the summer clothes away because it might be in the 80s for a few days here and there. Next thing you know, we're wearing long underwear (I didn't mean to make that rhyme). But nights are indeed chilly.

That would be my husband! Although he never seems to get cold! It is in the 50s here and he'll wear shorts!
I bet DL sells alot of sweatshirts!

Thanks for your help. It'll help with my packing!
