Considering booking a cruise with a Key West stop-- would there be a replacement or just another day at sea? It also stops at Nassau and CC.

It is too soon to know what will happen whenever cruises do resume. As you may have heard, Florida proposed legislation last month which would block local governments from making rules to restrict activity at the state’s ports. Largely seen as a response to Key West’s vote to restrict cruise ship access, the proposed legislation says that the authority to restrict commerce at the ports rests only with the state or federal government and not the local municipalities. We live in FL and were just in KW last week for Spring Break and have to say it really is a great place to visit for an extended time. We spoke to various local residents and most seem to be in favor of the ban (especially the hoteliers). Like everything else with cruising right now, and Disney waiting until last minute with announcements, no one really knows anything it seems!!
