What were your first impressions of everyone here at the TB?

When you first came to the TB, what were your impressions of everyone here?

- I thought Nora (daughter of amid chaos) was God. I later met her at a DIS Cape Cod meet and it was really cool!
- I kept mixing up Jenny (BabyPiglet) and Hilary (Babyjustrun).
- It was one of the aforementioned that scared me sooo bad because I used one of their icons and they told me to take it out.
- I thought George (marypops!) was a girl.

I don't remember. It was such a long time ago. But, I can tell you how my opinions of people have changed.

i don't really know. when i joined, all the people i talked to aren't here anymore. and it doesn't really phase me when anyone else joins, so i kinda just notice people the first time they get in a fight or something, i guess. i think the first time i notice you, whatever youre doing will stick with me.

i don't have any nice examples of that. lol.

i did think george was a girl, and billy was brian though. lol

Sonya, to be honest, the first time I really remember you is your very first post about cancer, and I figured you were lying. We had had a lot of people lying about illnesses recently. But of course I didn't keep that impression long. I'm sorry I didn't believe you at first.

But WAIT. That wasn't my very FIRST impression! My mom said that me and you became instant friends when we were kiddies.

Uhm, I thought Tom was creepy! (Crazytp93). One of the first times I can remember us talking was right before my September 2007 trip, and he asked me what airport I was flying out, lol. Uhm, Idontknowyouthatspersonal! Haha.

To be honest, I think a lot of new people are irritating, so I'm sorry if that's what I thought of you when we first me. I slowly become more and more accepting of them though, hah.

Hm, Devan. I remember her posting one night, and she was babysitting someone? We IM'd. I instantly liked her.

Jaimie. Her name was very confusing for me, but now I know exactly what it is and what it stands for, lol.

Hilary used to have this picture from a car or something? In her signature? And she used to really like some guy singer? I can't remember the details, but that's how I remembered her by.

Who else? ....I can't remember. My opinions of a lot of the newer people came after last summer when I posted and couldn't tell who ANYONE was.

I don't even remember. I was so shy on here when I first joined.
I would randomly post on here, I was actually mostly on the TPAS board.
But once I started actually talking to people and making friendships, I like everyone right away and thought everyone was nice, until they proved me wrong.

Well that coulda been me, but I doubt my icons got circulated enough to be used/ I doubt I would tell you to take it out? I mean I wouldn't say that in a post, and I don't think I've ever pmed you. I don't pm much.

i was slightly intimidated by shelby & jenny at first hahaha, especially jenny, because she can tend to be slightly argumentative (even though she's younger than me! hahaha)

julie i really always liked from the get-go because she was so nice & friendly (and still is!) hilary & jamie i thought you guys were awesome, and jaimie--i thought you were like the coolest! lol

i don't think i ever really got involved in flirtations or fights or anything, i suppose i'm kind of a bore hahaha.

the only person that i had a bad first impression of was that guy munky....mike i think it was. i dont know why but he just rubbed me the wrong way. i didnt have a big problem with him or anything! lol just at the beginning i thought he was kind of intimidating-ish.

when new people join i am sometimes slightly reluctant to give them a chance as horrible as that probably sounds, but i always do give them a chance and usually im glad i did because there are lots of cool people to talk to here

That's alright, people still don't believe me. From the CaringBridge Journal/Blog to all the news articles (if anyone wants to know what's going on with the cancer cluster here, of like 30+ kids sick, PM me. it's a bit upsetting so idk if I should post it or not) to all the packages sent! Shelby sent me a package with Ghiradelli chocolate<3, it was one of the nicest things a "stranger" has done for me. People don't believe me but I know it's true and so do a lot of other people, so whatevz.

I remember him!! I never like him either..he annoyed me for some reason. I can't remember why though..lol

And I always like you too Caitlin. You were always so nice and we have so many things in common. I remember you were the only other person I knew (in RL and OL) who loved Frank Sinatra and all that kind of music. lol



And come to think of it, Shelby intimidated the HECK outta me! Still does too..lol I was always scared to say something that went against her opinion because I know she would have something really smart to say that would shoot me down..lol

Other than that, everyone else seemed nice.
