I remember Lemon Twist, flip comb/brushes, hand-held Coleco football, and jeans with a picture embroidered on the back pocket from when I was in elementary school. By high school, it was Goody combs, Rubik's Cube, key chains with the different denominations of money/bills on them, friendship pins, jeans with piping or beads down the leg, and what we called, at the time, Chinese shoes (I don't know what they are really called, but they were inexpensive black cotton, Mary Jane-styled, flat shoes with just a hard plastic sole on them).
