Haven't seen this thread, it may exist somewhere, and is closely related to the best tips ever board, I know! But I have the DIS board to thank for some tips that really helped us, so here goes my list of important things you fine folks taught me!
1-Use the porters, especially when disembarking. Boy do they make it easier and well worth a generous tip!
2. Order room service-Mickey bars, warm cookies and milk, the cheese platter, and morning coffee! THANK YOU ALL who talked about these!
3. Park on the third floor of the terminal. Much easier get into the terminal in the morning, and protection from rain. You all told me about this or I never would have known about it.
4. Try the chicken fingers and bacon tomato and brie sandwich from the pool fast food centers. They are really good. AND the soft serve ice cream! Would have avoided these except for all of your advice.
5. Take the bathroom air freshener. Bathrooms smell chemically funky before anyone has been in there.
6. The pools and aqua duck are the least crowded early embarkation day. AMEN!
7. Decorate your door with magnetic signs-it adds so much to the fun and makes you room so much easier to find. Got my ideas from this board.
8. Cabanas on disembarkation day was easier than the main dining room and had plenty of good breakfast choices for us. Would not have know it was an option except for you guys.
9. Try to visit Quiet Cove for the hot tubs and Quiet Cove Café. Besides our balcony, the most relaxing place on the ship.
10. Go to Shutters for photos as early as possible the night before you disembark or as early as possible disembarkation day. It was really crowded from about eight pm the night before and 8 am the day of disembarkation. Boy were you right on this one!
