What week would you choose?

I'm torn between two weeks. I'd love to get opinions. Here's our two choices:

1) Halloween week (10/28-11/4). This would be the best week, crowd-wise. Every day is a 4. However, my son would miss Halloween at home, trick or treating in our neighborhood, his pre-school's Halloween party, etc.

or

2) The week before Thanksgiving (11/12-11/19). Crowds aren't bad. It's a 5 most days. And the weather would be a little cooler. But, then we'd be into "possibility of snow and our flights getting messed up" territory, which we don't have to worry about at the end of October. Also, he'd essentially be missing two weeks of pre-school in a row since he'd miss one week for Disney and then the very next week is Thanksgiving week.

So, I'm torn.

Has anyone been either of these two weeks? Thoughts?

I would pick the October week and get tickets to MNSSHP. He can still dress up and go trick-or-treating, and it just such a fun party.

I agree with your other reasons - crowds, weather, the break from school - are good reasons for the October dates over the November dates.

Do you know how your son feels about "missing" halloween at home? He probably doesn't have much of a concept about the whole thing. If you pick the October dates, then just say: "How would you like to go trick or treating in Disney?" If he is in pre-school, he probably doesn't get Halloween much yet.

Yeah, he's young (he'll be 4 next month) so missing Halloween might not be that big of a deal.

If we went in Oct. we'd probably skip MNSSHP because my son is fast asleep by 8 every night. lol.
