What web sites keep you the most entertained during the day - um, other than the DIS?

I love visiting interesting web sites during the day at work - I know totally not what I am paid to do - but I use it as my smoking break. I figure if smokers get a 10 minute break every hour there is no reason why I can't ease my eyes and check out the DIS or some other web site to just release stress.

I visit the DIS and Boston.com. I also love travel sites, but since I am not planning a vacation any time soon, its a little cruel to check those sites right now.

What web sites keep you the most entertained. (I am secretly looking to expand my repertiore).

I visit travel sites also and one particular cruise site devoted to critics. :teeth: I'm always checking out the Drudge Report, USA Today, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC....I like to keep up with all of the news. ;)

Besides the DIS, I'm addicted to news - that started after 9/11. Lately I've also been an addict of all of the weather sites.

I usually read my soap (Days) at soapoperafan.com. I skim thru CNN, Eonline.com and of course I am on line all day for my work.

I check in on Chowhound.com daily- it's a great site where people write in about restaurants or food shops they've tried out, or get advice about dining in a new city. Basically it's people who love to eat great food, whether it's a dive or a hot new restaurant. Mmmmm, food;)
Another favorite for me is Television without Pity (www.televisionwithoutpity.com) They do recaps of various television shows and the writers are hilarious. They make up nicknames for the characters and insert comments about the writing & acting, all while giving you every detail of the episode. It's a great way to keep up on a show, or to experience one you haven't had a chance to watch. (Or wouldn't want to - I had no interest in "The Surreal Life" but the recaps were much funnier than the actual show ever could have been.)

I love ebay.........I usually am browsing ebay in another window all day.

I also like myinstantwin.com and freebie sights.

I collect dolls so there are a few doll boards I frequent.

Lately NOAA is a everyday sight as is CNN, Foxnews and E.

Oh that reminds me, my husband loves aintitcoolnews.com for the same TV recap stuff. He thinks they are hillarious. I have never gotten into it, but maybe I'll go and check it out too.

Second the vote for televisionwithoutpity.com. DH thinks that between there and here, I'm an obessed message board freak. Is that supposed to be a bad thing? ;)

Another good weather one for you weather freaks is AccuWeather.com. It gives you a 16 day forecast which I love for vacation planning purposes. It also has a great hurricane center that is easy to understand.

I am a scrapper so I forgot to say that I go to twopeasinabucket.com a lot too.

I go to some news and weather sites to check once in a while. I also go to A "SPACE" site to check space news.

I only go to one other "talk" site, but it has nothing to do with Disney, or anyone who posts here.:sunny:

Well, since I'm so involved with dog rescue... I used to spend a lot of time on the www.nopuppymills.com website. Now, I spend too much time on the DISboards and usually don't have enough time to check out what's going on in the other forums.
