What way would you take for a slow ride from Pompano to Orlando?

We plan on Leaving Pompano early and want to take it easy going to Orlando.

What way would you take for a slow ride from Pompano to Orlando?

I would still take the turnpike for most of the trip. Taking I-95 to the beeline can be very heavy traffic and is not my idea of "easygoing." I would take I-95 north to Jupiter (Rt 706) and then hop over to the turnpike (they run right next to eachother there).
