What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?

When I was a kid, the only time cartoons and kid shows were on was Saturday morning. My kids are amazed at this, and feel so sorry that I was so deprived.

I loved the show Wonderrama! Oh, and the Jackson 5 cartoon, the Archies, The Banana Splits, Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Since I had 7 brothers, I also watched a lot of Speed Racer, Batman, and Dark Shadows (which gave me nightmares but I felt compelled to watch it anyway!)

Well I didn't grow up in quite the same era as you all, hehe but some of my favorites were...
Gulla Gulla Island
Allegra's Window
Eureka's Castle
REN AND STIMPY!!! (AWSOME)
Ahhh Real Monsters.
Rockos Modern Life...

It's about time with Emajean Cocoa ( Not sure if the spelling of her name is correct the way I typed it) but I used to love that show. Oh and mY mother the car too:D

Imogine and she appeared on Syd Ceasar's show. They were great together. But how about George Burns & Gracie Allen
George: say goodnight Gracie
Gracie: goodnight Gracie
and you thought Rowan & Martin invented that LOL

Oh! I forgot about Wonderrama!! We loved that show. I remember wanting to go there. I loved when they'd open those tall cans and those snake like things popped out!:bounce:

When I was young, my favorite on Saturday a.m. was Fury & Sky King with Mighty Mouse a close third.

As I got a bit older I lived to run home from the bus to see Dark Shadows! Oooooeeeeeoooooo. . . Outer Limits and Twilight Zone were not to be missed either! Then there's Ed Sullivan, Bonanza, and The Wonderful World of Disney (Sundays used to be great!)

A bit later still Star Trek struck my fancy as did Lost in Space. Then, of course, there's Batman! All of these were when I was younger.

In the 70s I lived to watch Medical Center--Chad Everett in tight scrubs. Hill Street Blues was a favorite in its day and don't even get me started on St. Elsewhere! Oh yeah, who could forget Thomas Magnum--man was he cool.

More recently I've enjoyed Cosby, Seinfeld, ER, Law & Order, West Wing and any news program.

It's like a Lay's--nobody can pick just one!

The Flintstones
Brady Bunch
The Carol Burnett Show
Medical Center
Beverly Hillbillies
Green Acres

I also loved the Gene London show, which was a local Philly show on Saturday mornings.

OH WOW! Someone who knows Gene London! I LOVED HIM! He would tell such great stories and draw pictures as he told them. Wasn't his boss's name Mr. Dibble? He worked in a little corner store, I think.

If you're from Philly area (I'm from Allentown), you must also remember

Chief Halftown
