What was your favorite now closed disney resturant?

I miss Spoodles. Have not been to it's replacement yet.

TS: Spoodles, before they homogenized the menu and took away a lot of its uniqueness.

CS: Tusker House. The chicken sandwiches were out of this world. Best CS in WDW, IMHO.

As other have mentioned, I miss ....

- Dinner at the Concourse Steakhouse
- Breakfast at Spoodles
- The chicken sandwich at Tusker House used to be my favorite CS

I think I miss the old Crocket's Tavern at Fort Wilderness the most. Years ago, Crocket's used to have 'make your own' pizza where you would make up the pizza yourself (cheese, toppings etc.) and then the staff would bake it up. As a kid I used to love nighttime after the parks when we would stop at Crocket's for pizza time

I miss the Broadway at the Top show at the Top of the World at the CR.
I miss the CS at Tusker House, as others have said it had the best Chicken Sandwich in the world.
I miss the old Empress Lilly.

I miss the Empriss Lilly. This was the first character meal we took our daughters to and from then, we were all hooked.

Thanks for bringing back fond memories. They used to have a drink that was served in a plastic shaped orange and a little straw stuck in it. I think this would be mine as well.

I remember that little orange from 1983!!! I was just a kid but I always remembered how cool that was!

I also miss Spoodles, the Gourmet Pantry and the Empress Lilly!

I loved when Spoodles had the tapas menu, they had a rosemary chicken one that was great!

Spoodles was awesome when it first as others mentioned. The concept was meant for people to share tapas, but they eventually changed it. My other favorite was the Fireworks Factory at Pleasure Island.

Wow, I had forgotten about the Fireworks Factory! Only ate there once but remember enjoying it.

Add us to the miss Spoodles list. Kouzzina just doesn't interest me at all.

Dinner at Chef Mickey's before it was a buffet and when eating there entitled you to go up to the top floor of the Contemporary to watch the fireworks.

Also, breakfast at Garden Grill.

If I remember correctly, Crystal Palace was cafeteria style. I miss it, but I don't really remember the food as much as I remember that being the last time I ever went to WDW with my dad. I was just about 10, and he never went back with us after that, so maybe it's just missing that more than missing the actual restaurant. LOL!! :confused3

I second breakfast at Garden Grill. It was seriously one of the best breakfasts I have ever had and I am NOT a breakfast person by any means.

I also miss the CS at Tusker House. It was the only place in AK that I could find a vegetarian lunch that I really liked for CS.

I miss the Papeete Bay Veranda, Tangaroa Terrace (I remember getting really good terriyake chicken there and a big bowl of strawberries and whipped cream), and the Empress Lily. Sigh...

I also miss the old Akershus and I preferred the old Hollywood & Vine too.

I also miss eating lunch with the show at the Diamond Horseshoe. And the stacked sandwich at the Tomorrowland Terrace.
