My Sister in law will spending their honeymoon at WDW and I told her she needs to wear those Wedding ears and Hat Ears. What were some of the neat things you had happen to you when you wore them so I can tell her :bride: Thanks.

Most of us won't talk about anything that happened special, simply because it may encourage abuse of the ears or expectations that are too high. I mean, they could get a lot of special treatment, or they may just hear congratulations a lot. I will say that I had a ton of little girls looking at me like I was a princess and we were congratulated a lot by both CMs and other guests. That was really nice and it was definitely appreciated. Oh, and we had people offer to take pictures of us when they saw us doing individual ones more than usual, which was also nice. Other than that, they should just wear them and not worry about the special treatment. Just wearing them is fun, especially for the girl! (Tell her to get the headband, not the cap)

My daughter got married in May and she wore the veil ears and her husband wore the hat ears and they said they got some front of the lines passes and some fast passes and alot of congradulations and well wishes from park guests and some from the cm's. :bride:  :groom:

Thanks for the replies. I know all about not expecting anything. Being a Disney Vet myself, I know all about expectations being too high, but I will not go there. I really want them to have a great trip. My SIL has not been to Disney since she was little, she is 21 now, and feeling "a little" magic I know will make her day. Being singled out on the Jungle cruise with a joke or a "hey here is a fast pass" would thrill them. Just to put that Disney stamp :wizard: on their honey moon to make it even more special. :bride:

Just a quick question..... Are the ears readily available ? Where do you buy them ?
Only 3 weeks to go before we land in Orlando and 4 weeks until the wedding and we will definitely be wearing the ears !!!

We got ours at World of Disney in DTD...I would recommend that store because they did carry both the headband and cap style for girls. The headband did not seem to be as readily available. The cap and groom's hat can be found a lot of places.

We got a lot of way to go's. It was wonderful. People we so happy to see us, and we really felt alone, in so many. So happy for her!

I changed my picture at the bottom so you could see us wearing them :)

When DS and his DFi got engaged in June, a CM mentioned to them to stop by Guest Services and ask for the Mickey and Minnie wedding buttons since they had not yet married and wouldn't be wearing the ears. They heard lots of congratulations and, a complete surprise to them, the chef at LeCellier made them a special chocolate dessert (for free) and the staff presented them with a little card that they had all signed. Since they had no expectations, this small gesture absolutely floored them and DS said they smiled all evening!
