I was just wondering what other kinds of codes people have gotten in the mail or on the Disney Reservation line. The lowest ever was December of 2006 (week before Christmas) we were offered the All Star Movies for either $27.99 or 32.99. I can't remember the exact amount but it was less than $35 a night with all taxes added. We stayed for 2-3 nights. The next four nights we went over to Fort Wilderness Cabins. He gave us a rate of $155 per night and we'd never stayed so we had to try it. We left on the 22nd to come back home. I get a lot of $54 for Values. Sometimes they can be as high as $74. Then the mods are on average $84 but I have been offered those as low as $67 a night. That was @ 2005 though. Sometimes it's the email codes, sometimes the snail mail paper cards. Other times I'll call and get these offers on the reservation line. The cheapest we were ever offered a DELUXE resort was Contemporary for $165. (Same telephone operator we had for our Dec bookings....) He was awesome!!! I was just curious to offers others have gotten in the past couple of years! So share....

I've gotten a courtyard view at Wilderness Lodge for $149.00/night and a savanna view at AKL for $152.00/night. I also gotten POFQ and CSR for $79.00/night. The same year I got the savanna view at AKL I was offered a standard view there for $99.00/night. I thought those were pretty good deals.

I love AKL! Those are great deals!!! Thanks for sharing. :goodvibes

All I have to say is... "How did you get those discounts??????":confused3

The time we went right before Xmas was a last minute trip. We were at the Crab House having dinner and he said, "We should try the Christmas Party." I told my hubby no way would rooms be available. Each of us got on our mobiles and called WDW. My CM gave me $200+ on one of the new DVC's and he got this guy, who was so cool, that went through every discount code he could find. I don't know what he used for the ASM but that was the cheapest we'e ever stayed at WDW! He just kept going through each property with these codes and we ended up choosing half the stay at ASM and then the cabins since we'd never stayed there. Sometimes I get codes in emails or in the mail, and sometimes if you call you can ask if any pins are on your information. Last year we had a pin on our name that was a free upgrade to a DVC (one of the small rooms, not the big ones) but still a nice perk if you wanna try something new. We never used that one. Sign up and get yourself info anywhere you can...enter Disney contests, order videos, maps, etc. And once you stay there you are sure to get something! They aren't as frequent now as they used to be but we still get 'em. Right now anyone can get the free dining in late August/September. That's a good perk too!

In 2007 we got a Studio at SSR, with free dining for the three of us, for the cost of our standard room at AS Music ($82.00 a night if memory serves me correctly). :goodvibes

It was awesome! :thumbsup2

We received $199 a night garden view in October for the Poly in 2005. I do not remember if it was an AP rate or a pin code.

I'm not sure what years it was but, we got POR for $79 night with a postcard code and POLY gardenview for $199 with ( i think ) an AP rate. The year we went to WL we paid $119 ( AP rate ) standard view and were upgraded to Courtyard when we checked in.

In July 2006 called and had to change due to a funeral at the last minute. I got AKL savannah view for $199. Maybe the CM felt bad for us but it was only $180 to change dates and go from POP to AKL. I think it was considered value season for AKL for some reason.

In 2002 for our 25th Wedding Anniversary we paid $199 + tax at GF value season , and our next best was $109 AKL standard view value season.

Last year the week before Christmas we got a tower room at the Contemporary for $195/night, we than got a free upgrade to a tower room :-)

Best I've ever had is $229.50/night, including tax at the Polynesian. That's this September with a postcard rate.

Next cheapest was $233/night including tax at the Polynesian in September of 2004. Also a postcard rate. :)

Best rate we ever got (got it a couple times) was $55/nite at value. We've also got $79/nite at Moderate.
