What was your best deal this holiday season?

American Girl doll plus two extra outfits for $67. I was lucky enough to get through during the Jill's Steals and Deals promotion. Of course I poured all the savings back into outfits for the dolls on Cyber Monday, but it was still a ton of American Girl stuff and will be a happy little girl (and, I admit, a mom who wants to play also).

DH needed a new suitcase after our last trip so we decided to visit Kohl's and see what they had on sale. Most of the luggage was 50% off but he didn't really like the hard-sided options in our price range. He did like a hard-sided Delsey that was marked $399.99 but did not want to pay $200 for it. I told him to scan it and see if it was more than 50% off. When he scanned it, it came up as on clearance for $39.99 but it did not have any clearance tags on it. I had the 30% off code so we ended up paying $28 plus tax for a $400 suitcase.

Harry and David Pears for my brother // I was really late starting Christmas shopping. When early these usually cost me about $45 with shipping, but I only started shopping Dec. 19th. Online Pears were discounted by to $19.99 and the free shipping deal with guaranteed delivery thru Christmas was extended to Dec. 19th.

Do realize this is still overpriced fruit, but it is good. I get this for my brother every year. It's my holiday thinking of you gift for him and his family.

Driving down my street I saw that someone had put a little handpainted child's bench out to the curb on garbage day. I looked it over. It needed a little wood gluing in one spot, and the former owner's name needed to be repainted over, but that's all. Beautiful little item with intricate summer and winter scenes painted on. Still need to stencil on my daughters name and am hoping to finish it today. Cost? About $3 in paint.

Got last generation Innotabs for my boys for $39.95 each. One had Planes the other Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Uh, nothing!

Everything I needed to get, wasn't on sale. Gift cards to restaurants for my mom (she LOVES to do the old bitty dine on weekends), loads of movie tickets for my dad, a snorkel set for the husband (I got a bit of a discount on Amazon for a good set but not a steal), Headliner Tickets, and a bunch of Disney Dooneys, and Disney charms and things.

I don't have any kids in my life at this time so the sales items just were not there this year. No one needed a TV or an iPad or that stuff.

I got a bunch of deal last Saturday. JCPenny had a coupon in the ad for $10 off of $25 and I had a text for the same deal. I also had a $10 off anything. I bought a $100 gift card and got a coupon for $25 off anything that can be used after Christmas. I used the gift card to pay the balances after coupons. I got a winter coat and shirt for DD#3 for $17 after coupon and early bird sale. I got a zip up sweatshirt jacket for DH and 2 shirts for DD#2 for $16. DD#2 is going to Italy to visit a friend this summer. I got her a suitcase lock for $1.09 after coupon.

Carson's also had a $10 off anything so I got her a squishy neck pillow for $2.25

Lastly, I found the perfect shirt for DD#2 ( it says "Don't Forget To Be Awesome"---she teaches students with autism and she uses this phrase often with them) but it was too small. Since it was an early bird sale I got with the intent to exchange at another store that had a larger size. I went home first and there was a $5 off anything coupon in my bill that just came. They let me return the shirt and repurchase it at the sale price so I could use the coupon.

Needless to say, I still have a lot left on the gift card but it won't go to waste :rotfl2:

Sam's Club had $50 gift cards to Pinot's Palette for $19.99. I wish I had gotten more than one as they are now $39.99

xbox one with 2 AC games for 180 and that includes TAX!!!!!

We got Xbox One for $246 and got a $25 gift card with it. So, basically $221.

My sister works at Wal-Mart and they were given a 25% off coupon if they worked black friday. It was on sale for $329 with a $25 gift card.

xbox one with 2 AC games for 180 and that includes TAX!!!!!

Wow, those are great deals! I may have considered that for DS if I had gotten a price like that.

I see one was an employee deal and what a great incentive to get workers! Scottmel - how did you get that price??

Well as par for the course, I usually decide on a must have thing 72 hours before Christmas. Why I don't know but always works out that way. I had NO idea about XBOX at all. Zippo. I was having a store hold one for me, sent DH in with a scrap of paper with a price on it of 249. He heads to pick up of course no one has it, it can't be found etc etc. Supervisor comes over, Dh explains he is after xbox and apparently what I asked for The 360 was out of stock so they kindly gave him the xbox one loaded with games for 180 after a giftcard rebate. I had no idea it was a ONE until last night and wanted him to return it bc I thought the 360 was better and the clerk basically said you are nuts if you return this! So my plans of a used 360 went to a new 360 went to a one. It was complete accident and I think they gave DH the one at the 360 price PLUS the giftcard associated with the ONE that wasn't to have been with the 360. As what I got retails for 384.99 before tax at best buy so my 180 is less than half! I'll take it!

Mine was an Aaron Rodgers Jersey for my teen daughter for $25.61.
