Solos, what was your best (lowest) budget for going to Orlando/WDW for a week once you got down there? What was your best deal for accomodations (on-site or off-site)? Dining options? Tickets?

Last August, I went on the free dining plan and stayed at the All-Star Sports for something like $850, including MYW tickets with hopping and plus for 8 days. Didn't have to worry about transportation since I was on property and used Disney Express. Anyone have hints, suggestions, or ideas for the next time around?

you can't use mind - I own at DVC and some other timeshares.

so the only cost for my accommodation is my yearly fees - which I would have to pay anyway.

you might try
www.skyauction.com - but only bid on those timeshares (not hotels) that are listed for 7 days only - and are less than $50 bid. (Okay you can bid more - but remember the extra charge $195 + $20 might $25)

you can rent a DVC reservation from a DVC member.

look the value resort especially Pop. here are some pictures

if you stay offsite you will need a rental car - start here -

what also compare prices with the websites
www.dollar.com - look for discount
www.alamo.com
www.budget.com
www.national.com
etc.

My cheapest budget vacation to wdw so far was for less than $700 Canadian for 8 days including accomodation (DVC), park pass (AP), transportation and flights :)
