What was the last movie you watched on TV?

I watched some crap called “The Leech Woman” on Svengoolie last night. Some older woman discovered the secret to eternal youth while in Africa and killed several people to get their brain fluids.

The last normal movie was Grease a few weeks ago.
Right there with you, Angie. I watched the Monolith Monsters on Svengoolie either last week or the week before. When it was over, I told myself, 'I can't believe I just watched that, the whole thing'. Haha.

Well, in the mornings when I have nothing to do until DH gets up, I watch a lifetime movie or something similar.
This morning was about a young widow who was pregnant. Her son was born with a serious disease that was genetic.
She'd gotten pregnant with IVF......and was tracking the place she had the treatment,

Watched Inside out with my youngest earlier today to refresh us before seeing the second one tonight and last night DH and I watched The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which I thought was good. It’s a Guy Ritchie film about a group that is trying to thwart Nazi U-boats, but it’s unlike any typical war movie. It’s really good. Got a 93% on rotten tomatoes too

Last night we watched The Way. It stars Martin Sheen and was produced by his son Emelio Estevez. It’s about the Camino Trail (shortened name) walk/pilgrimage that many people make. We watched it because our brother in law is thinking about doing this next year. Not as a religious pilgrimage but because he’s a hiker and likes a challenge. He often hikes in Glacier National Park. We thought it was a very good movie. It’s from 2011.

Watched The Fall Guy the other day, it was very enjoyable & playful.

Watched Godzilla Minus One, liked it.

Watched The Perfect Wife yesterday, not sure if these sorts of shows are movies or not anymore but I was glued.

Something on Amazon Prime, “Please Don’t Destroy (something something) Treasure (something). The title was really long. Anyway, it was good for a few laugh out loud moments. Overall it was not that great. I think I was expecting like a modern version of Goonies, but it just did not hit the mark for me.

That's the movie that planted the seed for DW and me. We start from St. Jean Pied de Port on September 8, hopefully arriving at Santiago de Compostela on October 16.

Fury Road. Saw it on the big screen when it came out, but when it popped up as available here (Canada) on Crave (HBO) I couldn't wait to re-watch.

Get that it's not for everyone, but to me it's a masterpiece, as good or better than Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior) which many people regard as the best action picture ever made.
