On TV or at the theater or one you rented.

Breakfast Club, the other night on some movie station. OK, maybe it's time to get a good book to read!! :teeth:

Failure to Launch. I prefer calling it Failure to Laugh.

The Lake House..it was okay.

Watched Pet Sematary last night and it was just as dreadful as last time. I was zapping through channels and that was the most interesting thing I could find. :sad2:

Tiziminchac, I saw Failure to Launch on a flight to Chicago a couple of weeks ago. When my DH asked me what movie I watched on the flight I couldn't remember what it was called. I could also not remember what it was about or who was in it! It was only when I saw a pic of Matthew whatshisname in a magazine that I remembered he was in it and looked it up in IMDB... Talk about not making an impression..! :rotfl2:

I watched Jurassic Park 2 days ago- my alltime favorite movie. I know every line by heart.

We watched Independence Day last night. No particular reason, I was just in the mood for it.

Theater-wise, the last movie we saw was The Da Vinci Code.

My husband took Monday off (I don't work Mondays), we are both off Tuesday, so we are going to see Cars and Superman Reurns :)

Yesterday was movie day for me. I've been working a lot lately, and needed a day to chill.

Nanny McPhee. Rented it last night. I really liked it, but my kids think I'm crazy because it made me sob (every time Nanny McPhee did her little bow to the mother's chair, and when the father chased the carriage.)

I also tried watching The New World (the one about Pocohontas) yesterday, but it was so boring I gave up on it.

And we went to see Over the Hedge yesterday in the theater with some of DD13's friends for her belated bday party.

DD13 and I saw The Lake House on her actual birthday a couple of weeks ago. It was OK, but very slow, kind of depressing, and left so many unanswered questions. I'll have to rent it when it comes out on DVD and see if I "get it" any better.

Shopgirl with Claire Danes. I found it a little flat. If it's going to be a "chick flick" then it needs to emotionally move me (and since I'm pregnant, I cry at the drop of a hat these days) but . . . Nada. The main characters spent a lot of time on pensive looks through the movie. Actually, a lot of the minor characters did too. <yawn>

I just saw The Devil Wears Prada. I really liked it!

Theaters: Scary Movie 4

DVD: House of Wax

Superman Returns (theater) I liked it a lot! My dgf said it was ok.

Firewall (DVD) eh, it was ok.

Watched Waiting on DVD the other night. It was pretty much what I expected it to be. It was OK for a $1.00.

I watched the Bongo poriton of Fun and Fancy Free last night. I'll watch the rest today:earsboy:

Just watched RAY last night for the thousandth time~love the music! And saw CARS in the theater recently. ;)
