It's time to share the highlights of your last cruise. What is a MUST DO? Us upcoming cruisers NEED TO KNOW!!!:earsgirl:

Unless you've experienced this first hand, you can't imagine how incredible it is. And I am definitely NOT an "animal" type person. I'm afraid of most cats and dogs, but swimming with the stingrays was absolutely amazing!

Hearing the ships "when you wish upon a star" horn for the first time when leaving Port Canaveral & of course the awesome views of the islands early in the morning @ sunrise from your verandah! Castaway Cay & snorkeling and of course all that food!! Our list goes on & on . Enjoy!!!..we'll be back in Feb. 2004! Cathie

We were treated to smooth seas and clear skies our entire cruise which helped make a lunar eclipse a favorite memory of ours...our family sitting on the deck watching the moon disappear then reappear together and finishing the night at the midnight dessert buffet...

Wish I was there right now...:D

Sitting on the verandah of our stateroom at night and just watching the water....it was very soothing! Drinking coffee out there in the morning was great too!

Oh there are so many highlights ~
Ours was a long awaited family reunion
we'd saved and planned for over 2 years. :D

First ~
Just being with DH, our 4 grown children, 3 SIL's and 7 grands ^i^

Singing carols with our grands at the Christmas tree lighting, with M&M in their holiday attire in the mist of falling fake snow.

St. Thomas was an absolutely wonderful day.
'Godfrey Tours' met us at the dock and spent the whole day with us. We toured St T., drove to Mt Top, some had the famous Banana Daq. Later the men went parasailing, while the girls took the kids to Coral World. Later we met @ near by Coki Beach for swimming in the crystal clear water and a wonderful picnic from the ship. On the way back we stopped in town for a shopping spree. We all had a delightful day making special memories.

After the kids were tucked in,
4Nana and girls peaceful get together in the hot tub.....aaaah..

The Mickey ice cream and waffles,
the warm chocolate lava dessert.

'Tea with Wendy' w/my east and west coast Gdaughters dressed in their princess costumes.

The peaceful aqua blue Caribbean ocean

Last but not least ~
the food, service, beautiful ship, horn and being treated like royality....
( most of the time;) )

Swimming with the Dolphins and the Stingrays.

We just returned from our second cruise - first one was a three night, this was a four night.

There were so many wonderful things, it is hard to narrow it down! Let's see: first off, we enjoyed the simple beauty of the ocean off our verandah -- we loved just looking out at it. Also, snorkeling on Castaway Cay was amazing -- the first time we ever snorkeled was at Castaway Cay last summer! We also love the Broadway style shows at night, the endless food, the Konk coolers at the sail away parties, and being surrounded by "Disney" (if you love things Disney -- you'll love the ships).

Too many things to list actually. Make sure you take time to explore the ship and walk around. I know you'll love every minute! :D

Three most wonderful experiences from our last cruise:

1 - swimming with the stingrays, awesome!

2- sunset in Key West, just amazing as the sun just melted into the water

3 - the lunar eclipse (we were on the same sailing as two4ruff). Words can't describe how beautiful it was.

As to pin point one thing is difficult. My family loved the jeep adventure in Cozumel we book our own tour not Disney. We went snorkling onthe north east side of the island amoung tthe micro atols-sort of like a grand canyon underwater.

I do love hearing the whistle blow except for the time it blow when we are to leave Castaway Cay. I love having someone clean my quarters, plan and cook my meaal, serve me dinner and
clean up after.

I also love just doing somehting different and off course the highlight is visiting castaway cay. Joan

Palo, parasailing, the adult entertainment, adult beach, adult pool...all the stuff we couldnt do on our first cruise with our kids.
And of course, Disney Dreams!

Highlight - meeting fellow DISers on board and enjoying brunch and high tea with them.

Must do - I echo jeanne. Stingray City is a must. It was one of the most incredible experiences ever!

From our first cruise 2/03:

Scoops ice cream in the morning, my 2 DS's going down the Mickey slide, Palo, Castaway Cay and most of all having the best and most relaxing vacation we have ever taken. I guess the very best was booking #2 for this Feb. so we can do it all over again.

Having a verandah was GREAT. We just got back and this was truly our BEST vacation ever. I will never go with and inside cabin again. The look on our little gril's face was priceless, as was her love of the kids club, which let us enjoy some quiet alone time on our verandah, also priceless!! We also enjoyed snorkeling at Castaway Cay.

Wow, great posts all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thx so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe no one mentioned the chocolate souffle at Palo! It is a must have!!

Things I'll never forget.....

The ship photographers by the 4th day saying (hey, there's Annika! "snap, snap")

My DS10 saying (without knowing we could hear him) he needed to give the room service waiter a "speedy" tip!

My Dad and wife telling us it was the best vacation they've had and asking my DH and I to go again this year!

My 3 year old (Annika again) sobbing when we left the boat (all the way to the airport no less!)

My 4 year olds face as she was getting a WINNER medal at the club (she fell and hit the table and had the biggest shiner I've ever seen! -- BTW - the counselors were great!)

My 6 year old daughter laughing uncontrollably at Chip and Dale!! what a sight!

My DH getting his wish every day ;) ;)

There were so many wonderful memories, but one that really stands out is the kids farwell show. Seeing my kids march in and then watching all the photos of the kids club from the week, and actually seeing all the fun that they had had! Then seeing the looks on my DS5's face when Mickey came out on stage with them. Needless to say I cried! Of course I was a little emotional after leaving castaway cay and spending the hour before the show packing, but it was very sweet!

Not much is said about the children's farwell show, and I may be the only one who truly loved it, but to me it was a not miss thing!

The BEST memory is of the "chocolate covered smiles" of DD5 and her two twin tablemates after eating Mickey Ice Cream bars!

Of course parasailing over Castaway Cay, and early morning hot tub time were good memories, too.
