What was the highlight of your most recent DCL cruise?

Definitely Disney Dreams! It was wonderful! Also, our day spent floating on rafts in the beautiful water at Castaway Cay. BEAUTIFUL ISLAND!! Wish we had more time there.

All the theme nights in Rockin Bar D; the band Spirit especially during 60s night; meeting the new summer of 03 CM staff(which included a few favorites from summer of 02); Bingo with Andy.................... just go! You will have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!; Carlos and Charlies!!!!!!; Fury Catarmaran in Cozumel!!!

much like everyone else, I don't have just one highlight...I don't think anyone could have just one...LoL

I have to agree w/ twilight and say disney dreams..I cried my little eyes out at the end both times I saw it! The sailaway party was definitely a highlight too, it's something I'll never forget, that first time experience on board the ship..I didn't quite understand what all you wacky dis'ers were ranting and raving about until I sailed...now I'm a wacky dis'er too!! :p

snorkeling and of course all that food!!

Use caution when snorkeling and eating at the same time,,,,,

The highlight of my recent 8-23-03 cruise was: "Just being on the Magic!!!" It was the most "MAGICal" week of my life and The Page Family gets that opportunity starting today!!!

The highlight of my 4 day last May was being able to spend every minute (except for 30 for a neck massage) with my almost 3 year old daughter and seeing everything through her eyes! I can't wait for our next 7 day. Also one of our highlights was The Lucayan Beach day in Freeport, we had a blast there!

Theme nights in Rockin Bar D....especially 70's night. It's not often that my DH and I get a night out away from the kids, and to do it with our best friends on earth (my sis and her DH). It was a real treat:teeth:

The highlights of my 3 DCL cruises are too numerous to mention. My favorites are:

CC - need more than 8-9 hours on this paradise island.

Head's Up Bar - love the view, breeze, Buffett music, etc. - great photo shots can be taken on the deck with the Magic/Wonder in the background.

BBCs - need to find a bartender in Michigan who can duplicate these.

Characters - this past July, we took our 6 year old goddaughter who got to dance with Dopey, hug the princesses, great photo of her and Mickey nose-to-nose, and dance at the Goofy pool with Pluto.

Palo - my favorite all-time restaurant -- for brunch and dinner. We usually have dinner two nights on each cruise.

CMs - haven't encountered one we didn't like.

Sitting in the atrium - I enjoy relaxing in the atrium mid-day.

4th deck - peaceful and relaxing.

9th deck - coffee station - I'm an early riser and appreciate the coffee station, watching the ship come into a port or sailing in the middle of the ocean, being able to watch the ship come alive as the morning progresses.

Entertainment - all of it is enjoyable.

DCL Reservation Rep -- Being able to book another cruise so it's not so traumatic to leave the Wonder/Magic on debarkation day.

By the way, DisneyNutMary, we're on the same cruise next year. I've always wanted to go to Antigua.

Whenever my DH talks about the cruises, he ranks the food at the top. He enjoyed the Krispy Kremes for breakfast this summer.

oh to find the positive in last Novs (non) cruise

1) I lost about 15lbs (besides the original 15lbs)
2) Mr No Pants has no ordered pants (I can show off my handsome DH in all the dining rooms now)
3) We will have a verandah (originally had an SPR- we can now join the Verandah Club!)
4) Get to cruise with a great bunch of DISers 11/8 (wouldnt have rebooked again so soon)
5) Jimmy Buffet (never realized how much I love his boat songs)

Now Im even more ready. God did have a plan.

Funny Barb! There's always a silver lining in every cloud!!! Thx for the memories all. Keep 'em coming!!

Dueling Pianos!! I loved this show more than the large shows.

The early-morning coffee and chocolate croissant on deck 9 before there were many people awake.

Sea days! Sitting on the deck, reading a book, looking out at the ocean....

Palos for brunch--we did this twice. It was incredible. (Of course the dinner at Palo's was great too--the chocolate souffle was wonderful.)

St. John's--we had a taxi take us to Trunk Bay and when it was so crowded that we could hardly get in the parking lot, my DH told the driver to take us to a beach we had seen just before Trunk Bay. It ended up being Hawksnest Bay. It was gorgeous and we had it all to ourselves.

Spending time with DS in the Mickey pool.

:D

Sorry...I can't just list one

- Palo...dinner and brunch...bring on the chocolate souffle
- becoming a member of the verandah club...before it was discussed on these boards. Does this make us 'founding members'?
- the upper decks in the early mornings...watching the sunrise
- kids clubs...our 3 dd's did not want to leave
- castaway cay...words just can't describe how awsome it is
- mickey ice cream bars
- hearing "The Disney Magic welcomes the Smith family from Glendale Arizona"
- the ships horn...loved it soooo much...it plays on my computer when windows boots up & when my cell phone rings

That's an easy one...

Meeting 'Kamgen' and 'tarzanman'. They have become 2 of our closest friends in the world, and if not for last year's cruise, we never would have met. We have already vacationed together twice since then.

No brainer!! ;)

'Beano'

Wonderful interpreters.
Chatting in German with a CM from Germany.
At the farewell in atrium the last night all the cast signing the ending song from the MMC.
Dancing with my hubby at 70's night.

The whole 4-night trip was an unforgettable highlight. But here's a few:

Pulling up our beach chairs up to the water at Castaway Cay while watching DS's swim on a beautiful scenic day.

"Dancing on the ceiling" with Mickey and Friends on Sail away.

Watching the fireworks at night in Nassau.

The shows: both Disney Dreams and Hercules (really funny)

I think my kids will agree......having Dad all to ourselves was out of this world! He truly had to leave all work behind! What heaven!!

Seeing the characters in their sailor suits was high on my list as well!

It would be the 24 hour drink station i love the milk, and from plutos dog house chicken strips, and talking to anina and depesh from south africa.
