What was the first Disney movie you ever saw?

Cinderella was the first movie, and I was young enough to not uderstand that it wasn't real. Lucifer and the wicked stepmother's scene in the dark bedroom gave me nightmares lol

BUT that's NOTHING compared to the first play I ever went to: Snow White.

The witch came out into the audience and was sneaking around in the dark among the rows of people in the audience. I was about 3 years old. Enough said.
I was four or five when my parents took me on the Snow White ride in Disneyland. The witch terrified me! I have never been on it again and have never taken my kids on it.

I think it was Pinocchio at the drive-in at in the late 70's maybe 1980.

My oldest ds's (now 10) was Cars when we was almost three. It started an almost an all out obsession with cars. That movie will always hold a special place in my heart because I watched it SO many times cuddled up on the couch with him.

I've been a Disney movie collector for many years long before my oldest was born so I've always had a full library. I couldn't tell you what their actual first Disney movies were.

Oldest DD's first in the theater it was Finding Nemo.

The younger two was it Toy Story 3.

If I remember correctly, it was The Lion King since we had it on VHS. I really liked it when I first saw it and still do!

I'm guessing The Jungle Book in 1967.

I was a little too young to see Mary Poppins during its original run, but saw it circa 1972 when Disney re-released it.

Whatever movies they played on " The Wonderful World of Disney ". My parents didn't take me to the movies. I remember watching the Parent Trap, Pollyanna, The Shaggy Dog movies and Herbie a lot.

The first Disney movie I remember seeing in the theatre was Cinderalla. It must have been an anniversary version. I was already 18-19 at the time.

The first I actually remember were in 1965. I was 5.
That Darn Cat and a rerelease of Cinderella.

Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs in the 1958 re-release, I was 3 years old. The wicked witch scared me so much I had to hide my eyes.:scared1:

Parent Trap - Haley Mills played twins trying to get their parents together again instead of divorced. It was at a very small town venue, and we sat on benches! Yeah! I'm OLDerr :)

I used to watch Disney every week on Sunday's, I think. Along with Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.

I don't know how many times they showed Charlie the Lonesome Cougar, but I saw it a lot!

As far as theater released film? No clue what I saw first.

I don't quite remember 101 Dalmatians in 1961 when I was 5. I do remember being at the drive in in 1962 for In Search of theCastaways. I imagine I may have seen something before those but don't know.

Anyone remember watching Old Yeller? Buzz kill.

OMG, they showed that during an assembly at my elementary school. A couple hundred kids sobbing.

My first Disney movie was Lady and the Tramp. At a drive-in, can you imagine? I remember we went in our pajamas because we were being put to bed as soon as we got home. :)
