I'm in a reminiscent mood today

The first Disney film I ever saw was Sleeping Beauty (naturally :)) I was about 2, and my mum rented it for me. I loved it so much, and made my mum rent it for me so many times (she never bought it for me though  ).

I remember when the Little Mermaid came out, and I desperately wanted to see it, I watched all the adverts longingly, but my sister was still a baby, so we couldn't really go and see it.

The first time I ever went to the cinema was to the see the Rescuers Down Under, and the rest as they say, is history :D.

I was thinking back about all this today, and I remembered that, despite me hating Jasmine now, she was my favourite princess back in the old days . I used to have a doll of her, that I'd take everywhere with me. Weird, huh?

Wow, this post was only going to be a few sentences, I kinda got carried away with my reminiscing, didn't I? :D

I don't know why, but I actually remember being in the movie theater watching Cinderella when I was about 2 years old. I'm not sure if that's the first Disney movie I ever saw, but it's the one I actually remember seeing. My grandmother loved the Disney princess movies (especially Snow White), so the first movie I ever saw was most likely Snow White, Cinderella, or Sleeping Beauty.

<font color=blueviolet size=3>The first Disney movie I saw in the theatres was Bambi when I was 3 (I think). I'm not sure if it was the first Disney movie I saw, but I can't really remember. I remember watching Cinderella over & over again when I got it on video, & then doing the same later on with the other classics (I must of drove my parents crazy! lol). I got the Lion King when I was in fifth grade & I remember laying on the couch cuz I was sick, crying my eyes out when Mufassa was killed!

Im thinking Little Mermiad was the first I saw in theatres b/c it came out in 1989 or 1990 and i was 3.

i know i used to be scared of Mary Poppins...lol..then i watched it and loved it..i was 2 or 3 then.

The first Disney movie I saw in the theatres was The Little Mermaid. I can't remember seeing it though! :D

hmm i think it was either 101 Dalmations or Pinocchio

The first I ever saw was Bambi, according to my mom. :p

Here's a fun reminiscent story- My grandmother on my mom's sidewas a wonderful sweet person, but she died of cancer when I was two. :( When I was real little, though, I would go over there almost every afternoon and sit in her lap in her favorite chair and she would hold me and we would watch Dumbo. Every day and it was always Dumbo. I guess I never got tired of it. I know that I don't remember her at all, but it makes me happy to know that she shared time with me when I was little. I enjoy getting my mom to tell me stories of us watching Dumbo together. :) It's stories like that that really show me the magic of Disney.

The first Disney movie I ever saw was probably Cinderella... then the first I saw in theaters was the Lion King *i think*... but I know my fav. was Aladdin- I was Jasmine for Halloween and even had Aladding blankets! lol- guess the obession starts early... ;)

We went to the drive in and saw "The Gnomemobile".

snow white i was about 6 or 7 i think. it was a long time ago. i seen it in the theatre and remember goiung for ice cream after

The first Disney movie i saw was Cinderella.
But the movie i watched the most has to be The Little Mermaid.
When i lived in the Caribbean that was the only movie i owned and i would watch it over and over again :)
My mom even saw Ursula once!!:D :D :D :D
She said that jokingly but she still scared the pants off me

My first had to be the first, so the first Disney cartoon I saw was Steamboat Willie
the first movie was Peter Pan, then Jungle Book and Robin Hood

the first movie ever that i saw in the movie theaters was Little Mermaid (i was bout 3 y/o).. I dunno if it was my first time to see a Disney movie though..

My first Disney film was Sleeping Beauty and every single time we went to the video shop I made my mum rent it for me. After about the tenth time the lady in the shop persuaded me to rent Homeward Bound instead but it just wasn't the same. In the end my Grandma bought me the video of SB:)
