what use year month if I wanted to go at Christmas

Could anyone tell me what would be the best use year month to have if I wanted to be able to go at Christmas?

Decemer use year would be the best. You get the points on December 1st of each year. Even if your plan changes/cancels, you will have plenty of time to use the points for the rest of the year.

Anything June or After should work. If you only go December, I'd agree that would be my preference. If you're looking resale you may want to consider that as long as you are farther than 6 months from your use year, you can still bank all current use year points. The only advantage of having a use year even closer (December for example) would be if you had to cancel. That way you would have longer to use the points if you couldn't bank them (cancel less than 30 days, banked or borrowed points).

Remember, use year is not that important. It doesn't give you any advantadge in booking.

The only time it comes into play is when you are canceling. If you vacation every year at the same time, there is a slight advantadge to having a use year 0-6 month prior to your usual vacation. That slight advantadge ONLY comes in if you cancel.
