So what attraction based on a Universal movie (or it's partners) would you like to see in the parks? Describe the ride, movie or show and what park you would like to see it in. :goodvibes

I know this is not a Universal movie but I would love to see a ride based on the Lord of the Rings movies. It would be a ride on a track (like ROTM) that takes you through many parts of Middle Earth. Your mission would be to take the one ring to Mt.Doom and Destroy it. I think this would work in either park. :thumbsup2

I really think they should make a new King Kong ride. I think the possibilities of what kind of ride you can make with him is endless. A roller coaster like ROTM that is you escaping from his grasps I think would be fun.

I always thought the Fast and the Furious franchise would've been a good choice by these guys. Its a popular topic and the merchandising would be pretty easy. Plus a ride with cars virtually makes itself.

As for what I'd like to see I agree with King Kong that'd be very cool to see the big guy back again. Plus what I'd really love to see is the Jurassic Park tour that we all thought we were gonna get when Islands first opened and not the boat tour

I really like that idea...it could be called Kong: The Escape...or something like that.

Wouldn't it be something if they had a ride based on the Back to the Future franchise? It was/is one of the biggest movies of the 80s and 90s and still has a big following today.... and for some reason I just feel that if they had a Back to the Future simulator type ride, that it woul dbe a huge hit and everyone would love it! With the technology we have today, they could make a nice new video for the projection and make the car smooth flowing and not jerky, and I bet it would be a hit! I can't believe they never thought of that! :rotfl::rotfl2::rolleyes1

Like I have always thought...get rid of Fear Factor Live and use the soundstage to creata thrilling Bourne Identity Show! They don't have any live-action stunt shows at Universal Orlando. I mean Hollywood has Waterworld which is sick...so give Orlando the action treatment it deserves.

The Bourne Identity Stunt Spectacular!

Not sure if they are universal movies or not! hmmm.

BUT here goes anyway, If they are not universal I apologise.

I would love to see a test track style ride with side by side racing themed to Death Race. It would have guns firing, the track would dodge in close at times to give a running off the road effect etc.

Also - a ghostbusters ride

Also - a dark animatronic ride based on teh classic film metropolis would be SO AWSOME! They could even do everything black and white!

ALSO- A Hellboy ride would be cool at IOA (he is a comic book hero too)

ALSO - I wished they would make a crazy ride based on some slapstick movie such as naked gun or Airplane. It could be a fast ride with jokes intertwined. I dont think anyone has ever done anything like that. STRIKER! :rotfl:

Apollo 13- A ride similar to Mission: Space maybe?

The Flintstones: A ride fo young children. Take a journey through Bedrock?

I also think Twister could be done so much better than that wick show. It could be a 4D ride similar to spiderman where you are in a real life twister with wind effects, smells everything. You are in a jeep trying to escape from the twister. Maybe two different rides with two endings? One: you escape and the other you get sucked in. Or would this be far too expensive?

I think Universal needs a haunted house attraction/ride based on the Classic Universal Monsters. sure, WDW has a haunted house ride, but Universal is not WDW and they could build one so much better that features the monsters that made them famous to begin with. plus, they could throw in some others from Horror nights like Jack and the Caretaker. I think it would be great.

Probably one of the best ride Ideas I've ever heard! This could be used in so many different ways and it makes so much sense. It can be a dark ride, a boat ride, a 4-D ride, a thrill ride or maybe all of these combined! :cool2: Those classic monsters did put Universal on the map, why not right? They could put it where Bettlejuice is at right now. Hope Universal is reading this. :thumbsup2

P.S. Nice name by the way. :upsidedow

Sure...We probably wouldn't have those characters if if wasn't for Universal. :thumbsup2

I love LOTR and would have rather had an attraction based on that than Harry Potter, but thats just my opinion. :)

I love them equally. LOTR needs to be an attraction. That would be amazing if UO had both. :dance3:

Great ideas too. ;)

I think the term "Ride it out" on Twister is a bit misleading. :rolleyes1

Yes!!! The first thing I thought of was the classic monsters. I wish that they would have an attraction, real restaurant, anything!

What about Transformers? A ride based on that could certainly be action packed.

They also need to expand their Marvel offerings. I'd love to see something based on X-Men but they could do any combination and I'd be thrilled.
