I definitely want more off-property DVCs! We love the Caribbean and Bahamas, so they're by far our first choice. A cruise ship that's partly dedicated to DVC sounds good too, but it's gotta have a casino. Me and my family only want to visit Disney once every yr or 2, but would buy more pts if more off property resorts were built in great, easy to reach places. Hawaii is a good start, but it's so far from the east coast that we'll probably only go there every 5 yrs or so.

I voted for the cruise ship plan, or a Caribbean Island. I wish hotel development in the area of WDW would just stop until they have a way to spread out the crowds better (like some more parks, improved traffic flow in the existing parks, other attractions, etc.). Not sure if that applies to the other parks -- maybe more DVC space at DLR would be good?

I completely agree with your choices, plus no more DVCs at WDW!

I'd love to see a Poly DVC, but I agree with a PP that said Disney really needs to find a way to spread out the crowds more first.

I voted Poly, Caribbean island (not picky, something lush and tropical), and other. I'm thinking New Mexico- down south towards Carlsbad, but not too close to Roswell, because that whole alien thing really freaked our big kids out when we were there.

I've also seen some beautiful pictures of resorts in Malaysia, but we could never afford to travel there, no matter how much I'd like to go there.

:lmao:
I would never have thought of wanting to vacation in NM..Carlsbad or Roswell especially..(of course living here may put a damper on that idea...no, wait..I lived in Vegas and still would like that idea..never mind :) )
Your kids were afraid of Roswell?? I hope you saw the bat flight in Carlsbad.

One of our other timeshares recently opened three new properties in NM: Sante Fe, Red River and Taos. We are eager for a roadtrip to visit them! Of course, NM also offers many natural hot springs ... can't wait to hit those either! Our dilemma: visit the timeshares (sometimes hours from areas we want to explore) ... or take the RV to stay closer to the areas of interest. Choices! Strongly leaning towards the RV ...
