What type of maid services are provided in II exchange resorts?

It's simple at DVC, "trash & towel" service only every 4th day with the ability to pay for additional cleaning services if you'd like. But what about when you do an exchange to a resort from the "World Passport" collection through Interval International? Is it the same type of "trash & towel" service every 4 days, or do they provide daily maid service at no additional charge?

The main resorts I'd be interested in knowing about would be:
- All Marriott resorts
- Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino
- the "Royals" in Cancun

Any info or advice from by fellow DVC members would be appreciated!

I have never stayed in any other timeshare that had trash and towel or any kind of "maid" service other than the preparation of the unit before you arrive. I know there are some who do that, but many and even most, do not.

Most Marriott's don't provide any service during the week though some provide a pool towel exchange. Can't speak to the Renaissance though we have a DIS member headed that way coming up I believe. The Royals are daily maid service with a tip expected not that much different that the cruise lines.

In general it seems mosts US timeshares don't provide anything and the ones that do, it's similr to DVC. Mosts MX timeshares provide daily service, the caribbean is hit or miss. I'd say assume nothing and be happy if there's more. Most don't provide any type of towel swap without a fee, some don't provide pool towels, some have wierd laundry setup and that includes the Royals.
