what type of chairs do they have in AKL rooms?

Can anyone tell me what the chairs are like in AKL - pool view rooms? Our friend has a severe back problem so he can't sit on the side of a bed - needs a sturdy chair - but not a hard one since he'd sit for hours and not a soft one (or he won't be able to get up out of it). So can anyway tell me what the chairs are like in the sleeping rooms at AKL?

Are you thinking of the chair that turns into a bed? Not all rooms have them but for those that do, they have no sides and are pretty firm and are about the width of a twin bed so wider than a standard upholstered chair. The back is straight up with very little "recline". Of course there are the regular hard chairs/table set that do come in every room. The chair bed itself I found to be extremely uncomfortable but didn't try it just for sitting. I don't think there's any other kind of chair that is provided or can be requested. Perhaps a medical supply company might have lift/recliner chair that can be rented if he needs something like that.---Kathy
