What TV shows remind you of being a little kid?

So many memories!

My most favorite memory as a kid was watching Wild Kingdom followed by Wonderful World of Disney on a Sunday night and eating BBQ chicken and mashed potatoes and salad. Every Sundy it was the same thing! I can rememebr crying once when a mountain lion died on Disney and sitting in the corner and bawling my head off.

My other memories are of the Brady Bunch (in reruns), the Jetsons, the Flintstones, Scooby-doo.... BEFORE yucky old scrappy doo (ICK).....

Also I loved wonderama..even though we were on the west coast I used to watch it every Sunday morning.

and Land of the Lost.. OH MY! Yes I watched it every Saturday morning when Saturdays were THE day for cartoons. I can remember waiting and waiting for the fall line up of new Saturday shows to start. It was so exciting.

I watched a lot of reruns like My Favorite Martian, I love Lucy, Beverly Hillbillies.

I can remember watching the Sony and Cher show on a black and white 5 inch TV my mom let me have in my room... I was SO excited! I also loved Donny and Marie.

How could I have forgotten Emergency?! My brother had a toy ambulance and we used to play Emergency all the time (Randolph Mantooth, anyone?)

Who remembers The $1.98 Beauty Pageant? The winner was given $1.98 and a bouquet of raw carrots! I used to LOVE Sonny and Cher and Donny and Marie. Welcome Back Kotter, Facts of Life, Laverne and Shirley...

How could I forget Emergency?!?! I had the biggest crush on ROY!!!

The smurfs for sure, plus I loved 2 English shows called Rainbow and the Magic Roundabout.

Oh now I feel so old, Rainbow Brite, Smurfs, my little pony, my daughter always watched those. I remember Disney's Wonderful World of Color, Red Skeleton, Laugh In, Mannix, Happy Days, The Monkee's The Bananna Splits, Johnny Quest. Hawaii Five 0 ( book em Danno!!)

In fact I also remember on Saturday Mornings, Astro Boy, Heckle and Jeckle, Mightly Mouse, My Friend Flicka, Rin Tin Tin, Sky King. Sigh remember when TV was not so gory, and women did not dress like sluts. Clean cut, happy. Feel good TV.

there was a show called petrocelli (sp?). Can't remember if he was a lawyer or PI or what, but it was on in England about 8 or 9pm Friday night. Every week my mum and I would walk the dog round to the chip shop, pick up chips and burgers (no Mcd's where I lived then) and watch it. It was the one night of the week I could stay up late.
