What TV shows are you giving up--if any

Thursday is my mess night wise so CSI Vegas has been dumped in favor of Supernatural (but I still watch the reruns, I'm just behind).

I thought that this was a great show but this season seems really bleh to me so far.

It comes on Sundays at 9:00, when I need to be getting prepared for the week ahead. If it doesn't pick up soon, I am going to be giving that one up.

CSI I really think that has run on too long.
CSI Miami is so irritating now with "H" and everyone wants to kill him but misses and Wolf always getting in trouble. With both of them all this time with very few changes in personnel? Also how come they only find evidence when Horatio points it out can't they do their jobs without him?
At the moment my only must see program is Eureka I just love that because of the humour that is in it.

We can record 2 at a time, and watch something we previously have on DVR. I'm seriously considering a second DVR in my bedroom. How sad is that.

LOL! I HAVE three DVR's in the house. One in my bedroom, one in the family room and one in DS's bedroom. We do some duplicating because our cable station does not allow cross watching yet but they think by the end of the year they will. I gave up 'Flipping Out' last night. Survivor starts this week. Will I be able to watch? Mmmm, don't know.

We gave up on the CSI shows (never did watch the New York one much, only a couple of times) last year. Don't plan to watch them this year either.

I can't think of any of the shows we watch now that we want to give up.

I forgot "Housewives" & Survivor......

I don't even have them on the DVR anymore.:confused3

Desperate Housewives is out like dirty dishwater. It doesn't even make sense anymore. Waste of time in my mind.

I don't watch much tv.

I watch Project Runway, Top Chef, Gossip Girl, Survivor, Real Housewives...I think that is it.

I am trying to talk DH into just getting rid of cable. Our daughter likes to watch Disney and Nick, but she is at school, at activities or playing outside.

I'm giving up American Idol. I swore last year that if Adam Lambert did not win, I was done with the show and I'm sticking to my word.

I'm also giving up Survivor. I have been watching out of habit rather than enjoyment.

I couldn't even make it through the end of the last season!

I kept thinking that there was no way that the entire season could be SOO bad. But they were consistent, terrible to the very end!

I must be the most pathetic, anti-TV person here!

The only two shows I watch regularly are: Big Bang Theory and The Price is Right.

One I DVR, the other, I just happen to really enjoy.

Although, now that Football has started, even BBT might take a back seat and I'll either DVR or catch in re-runs.

I really don't enjoy Dramas any longer. I invested so much time in ER, it felt like decades! I loved it, but I don't wish to spend time like that any longer.

I do enjoy cable shows like Mythbusters and home shows.

I watched a CSI once when we worked on it, and it was SO BAD. That guy who acts with his sunglasses, people actually like that? Or are you watching it to mock it? Or does the CSI science stuff get so enjoyable that you overlook him?

AMERICAN IDOL....Tired of Simon and his EGO,
thought he was totally RUDE last season at his
reaction to Kris winning. And taking Paula off
the show firmed up my decision to stop watching.
I'll be tuned in to dancing with the stars though!!:goodvibes

Darn it-- just missed! Only Big Bang Theory, 30 Rock and The Office here. So close.

I have more shows to add to my drop list, in addition to House & Grey's Anatomy-

Survivor- watched the season premiere and I'm done. Unless the rest of the family insists on watching, then I'll just mute Russell.

Heroes- Decided after the season finale last year I'm done.

Fringe- After the premiere I'm out.

CSI shows- yawn

That would CSI Miami - that guy is why I never liked that CSI version. I do still like the original Vegas one. I like the NY one too because I like Gary Sinese (sp?) and the woman who plays Stella, although I usually don't watch it for a few weeks on the DVR and don't really care if an episode or two falls off.

I've given up on most of the TLC shows because I got bored with them - same for a number of the HGTV and Food Network shows.

At the moment my only must see program is Eureka I just love that because of the humour that is in it.

We really like that one too, great characters - Warehouse 13 has been pretty good too.
