What TV Show and Movies Do your Kids Age 5 And Over Love?

This is a companion question to my UNDER age 5 thread but this thread is purely for professional reasons. I am a mommy of an 11 month old but also a children's librarian (public library) who is in charge of purchasing books and videos for children of all ages. I want to make sure there aren't any terrific videos/DVD's that I am overlooking!!!

My DD6 LOVES Fairy Odd Parents...I think that's a Nickeloden show. My DH (who is like a kid) watches Sponge Bob with my DD and they love it.

My DS's are 11, 9, and 6. I HATE most of what they love.

Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Jackie Chan Adventures (not too bad), Teen Titans, you get the pattern.

Ones we agree on: Fillmore, Recess, Kim Possible, Kids Next Door, Knock First, Survivor

Well, mine if WAY over 5, he's ll, and he loves a variety of things.

He's typical boy, liking Spongebob, Ed, Edd and Eddy...

He has a sensitive side and loves anything with Hillary Duff or Mary Kate and Ashley... don't tell his friends!

He still has a young side... still watches Arthur and Clifford! DON'T tell his friends!

And he likes the old school stuff, thanks to his old Mama... Sanford and Son, the Munsters, 227, All in the Family and the Jeffersons.

I agree with BethE...The Princess Bride is great. My daughter also loves Labyrinth, The Three Musketeers, Willow and all the Batman films.

She also loves SpongeBob and Buffy the Vampire Slayer

My daughter is 6 and loves "The Amanda Show" on Nickelodeon, Mary-Kate and Ashley, Eloise, the new version of "The Parent Trap" (she watched that one everyday during her rest time for a couple weeks in a row! ). She also loves the Hello Kitty videos/dvds and Angelina Ballerina. She loves Rugrats and SpongeBob SquarePants. Her favorite Dis cartoons are "Lilo and Stitch" and "House of Mouse" (My son who is almost 12 loves those last two also, but <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_2_112.gif' border=0></a>, don't tell his friends). Amada's Show, SpongeBob, The Fairly Odd Parents, Rugrats, Wild Thornberry, Jimmy Neutron... Is Arnold from Disney?

They don't care to watch much from Disney. They love the Disney animated movies though.
