I have ADR's for Primetime, but am seriously considering changing to something else. Although it sounds fun, I think DH would prefer someplace else. Afterall, he can get meatloaf at home. He is more of a surf & turf kind of guy.

We already have Le Cellier, Concourse, WCC, Sci-fi (lunch), Cape May Buffet, & Primetime. I was thinking of changing to Calli or Coral Reef. Any other suggestions? TIA!

What about the yachtsman steakhouse??? If you are on the dining plan it will be (2TS credits).

How old is DS? How about CP. I've had breakfast, lunch & dinner there and love all the food. Breakfast is great if you can get an early sitting you can be done just as MK is opening and you're already up Main St so you get a bit of a jump on everyone.

Ds is 8...totally not into characters, sadly. Someone has a pic in their sig of Cindy kissing their little prince. I would love that.

We are not big breakfast eaters, so really looking for a good dinner with melt in your mouth steak...1 ts available, so Yachtsman is out.

What about Mama Melrose's at MGM? We're thinking of eating there for the first time in a few weeks. I've read mostly positive things about it.

Not into Italian. Thanks though.

Cali--make ADR to coincide w/ the fireworks-- or the Yachtsman

My resort TS suggestion is Spoodles. There your husband can get garlic shrimp, a NY Strip steak and creme brulee for a total value of $58.40 for one dining credit. My park TS suggestion is to stick with Coral Reef, where he can get a shrimp cocktail, a filet mignon and a dessert for a total value of $57.11 for one dining credit. Failing that, you could try Chefs de France at Epcot for a bit of variety. As for choosing between another park meal vs resort meal, you might want to consider how convenient it'd be transport and time wise to get to any given resort meal, as opposed to eating in the park.

I'd recommend against California Grill on this occasion. It requires two table service credits (although you could use the 2 credits for one person, and either split the meal or pay for one person off the plan). Moreover though, you already have a meal at the Concourse steakhouse, and if you're going to eat at a resort, you might get more out of your vacation by visiting restaurants in different resorts. That way you get to try a different restaurant, but also get to see a different resort! Have a great time :)

My kids large and small all enjoy Kona Cafe at the Poly. They have some great deserts too. I gave them a choice of eating at the same place twice and had LeCellier reserved for a second dinner and they all wanted to go back to Kona's, so I cancelled LeCelliers and we ate at Kona. They have a great menu. We are planning on trying Coral Reef again this spring since they are now only 1ts.

This is one of my favorite places to dine on WDW property!! The food is hot & tasty and the service is excellent!! :thumbsup2

If you definitely are going to change your mind, then I would recommend the Rose & Crown in the UK at EPCOT.

Hmmm....somehow I missed that Cali was 2 ts. Poop. Now I have to rethink this.

I would LOVE to hear a good review (recent) of Coral Reef...

Thanks for all of the suggestions. Going to go back to allears now...

Ok. I just showed DH the menus for 50's PT, Kona, & Coral Reef. He wants Kona...they've got prime rib. Is is any good?

Personally I would replace the Sci fi TS. It is OK but 50's PTC is much better food.

I know it gets mixed reviews, but Sci Fi is for my DS. He is a B-movie freak. Loves to watch cheesy movies on the Sci-fi channel.
