What to wear to Disney in August..

We wearing board shorts/swimming shorts, so that when it rains you don't feel gross.

I'm forced to go in August from time to time due to scheduling, and it's miserably sweaty. I do loose, lightweight tees and very lightweight cotton cargo capris (I like St Johns Bay). Sandals, hair up in a bun, big floppy straw hat, and just spend as much time in the air-conditioning as I possibly can.

One day I'll go in October again. Sigh.

I'm bring a lot of active wear to wear to the parks. Mesh shorts and sport bras with a large tank over..

We visit every August, my husband is a teacher and our anniversary also falls in August. Tanks tops, sports bras, and athletic shorts (I like the ones with the built in spandex shorts under them) are all I pack. I also pack a couple of dresses (and body glide for chaffing) for night ADR's. I wouldn't take any jeans, you'll be uncomfortable in the heat for sure.

If you can go another time, do it. Otherwise, just wear athletic gear. That's what we do. Get a cooling towel. Frogg Toggs are great!

My sister experiences the itchy legs when wet and I swear she just said something made it better! I'll text her and see what she says. I had it a long time ago, but then it stopped happening for some reason. So I feel your pain!
