What to wear in December?

This is what it says on Allears:

"Locker rental at all four theme parks is $5 a day plus a refundable $2 deposit (price subject to change). If you park hop during that day, don't collect your deposit, but hold onto your receipt and show it at the locker rental at the next park. You only need to pay once a day for a locker. At the end of the day, collect your deposit before leaving the parks."

I'm not sure if they come in different sizes or not, but the ones we have rented hold a lot of stuff. We kept swinging by to put things we had purchased in the one we had as it was our next to last day and we couldn't have things delivered to the hotel. Turned out to be very handy!

I think there are almost always plenty available. Hope this works for you.

Aargh!! Thought December was relatively dry!! Every day I look at the forecasts its showing more and more rainy days for the time we are there!! Showers admittedly, nothing more intense but humph!!

Keith,

What dates are you going? We're leaving from PHL on 12/10 and I just checked Accuweather 15 day forecast for Orlando and it's changed since
yesterday. Yesterday the daytime highs were ranging from 69/74 and nighttime lows around 52/54. However, today the forecast for 12/10 thru
12/16 is 66/69 daytime high and mid to high 40's for nighttime. So, I think
we'll be taking more long sleeve t-shirts and sweatshirts than I had planned.
I always check Accuweather right up until the night before we leave. We were there this past January from 1st thru 9th and temps were in the low
80's during day and 60's at night!! So, you just never know in December and
January. Have a good time!!! I know I can't wait!!

We're leaving Dallas on 12/09 and are planning to bring shorts, jeans, sweats, windsuits, and a coat. I was trying to pack light, but remembered last year when we were there Jan 9th-15th. I had packed mainly warm clothes with only 2-3 pair shorts. You're right it was in the 80's during that time and I had to keep washing out my shorts while I had a suitcase completely full of unused winter stuff. The night before we left, it rained and got chilly so we finally pulled out some fleece pullovers. I understand it was cold all the next week, so you never know with Florida winters. Being a native Texan, I'm thinned blooded like most southerners, so 70's sound like jeans and long sleeve shirt weather to me.

We were there for Thanksgiving last year and we wore pants and tshirts during the day-sweatshirts at night. We could have worn shorts a couple days, but were cool enough with the tshirt on.

We were there this time last year and were also bound and determined to go to TL despite Temps in the mid 50's. There was only two other families in the entire park. The CM's were wearing ski jackets and hats. :rotfl2:

My DH and DD5 were running around having a great time while myself and DD7 were huddled in chairs. The water is heated so once you were in the water it was fine but when you got out. :cold:

I don't think the weather channel was even close with their predictions. :badpc:

Yep, every day I click on it, the temp drops...at least there's not too much rain forecast.

Of course since we have snow on the ground and it's in the 20's, I'll take mid-60's anyday.:cool1:

Haven't packed yet, still deciding, but leaning towards mostly long pants & t-shirts with sweatshirts over to layer. We need to pack dressier/warmer attire for our cruise:sunny: have to remember to weigh our suitcases - don't want to pay overage @ airport!

Hope all have a great time!

We just got back yesturday. I packed a bit of everything given that the weather channels were predicting highs in the upper 60's during the day and lows at night in the 40's. My son gets hot easily and he only wore shorts on 1 days. Most of the time we were comfortable in pants and short sleeve shirts, but brought sweat shirts with us for the mornings and evenings. I'd bring a bit of everything, since the weather can be unpredictable this time of year. Have a wonderful trip!
