I need suggestions and/or opinions about appropriate dress for the semi-formal and formal nights during Christmas week.

Christmas falls on Thursday, which is semi-formal on the Magic. Do you think holiday or summery type clothing would be more appropriate? What would be more comfortable??

Thanks!

Well if it were me I would dress to the nines! It is Christmas after all !! Even on the semi formal night I get pretty "dolled up" To me that is part of the fun of cruising! There are not too many places left where one can look elegant and fancy but not have to be bored to death. (I am thinking of stuffy gallery openings, operas that won't end and charity balls that I wish I just mailed the check)

Bonnie, I have a short black dress and a long red and black dress that I will be wearing for formal/semi-formal nights. Haven't decided which not for which though! I supposed the red dress would be more appropriate for xmas, although it's probably the more dressier of the 2. You won't be seeing me in my Xmas sweaters!
