What to Wear and not wear at Walt Disney World

I hate to admit it but I still use a small fanny pack,although most of the time it's sits on my hip and not my tummy.
I love all the pockets to keep things organized and having my hands free. I also hate any type of bag strap on my
shoulder or neck.
I go for comfort ,,cargo shorts, comfy t shirts and running shoes that have been worn in. I like ankle socks that wick away
the moisture. I also take my Birkenstocks with me. I always carry a few pre cut pieces of moleskin with me .
If shopping in DTD I will take a handmade cotton quilted bag with me.
Sunglasses are a "Must' for me.

Sunglasses are a must for me. In summer I like light coloured Bermuda shorts in a light fabric, and sleeveless or short sleeve loose light tops. Light coloured. I tend to wear flip flops with support. Either Sole, Birks, Teva, Clarks, and Eddie Bauer has some decent ones too. For pool or water park I wear a cheap pair of flip flops. Don't want $60+ flip flops stolen. I hate wearing shoes & socks in summer, esp with freq rain and walking around with wet soggy socks & shoes.
I like small crossbody purses like Lesportsac, Vera, etc. all I carry is my camera, and small zipper pouch for Gift card, ID, and a few dollars, lip gloss, and cell phone.
Not a hat person, it seems they just make my head feel hot. But I have blond hair. My dd who has dark hair wears a white WDW baseball type hat.

Shorts with quick dry material, t-shirt and Teva sandals.
I usually start with sunglasses but somewhere along the way I tend to loose them and DW gets a little angry.
Dollar store ponchos are a great asset to have on hand and pack into a small space. After we are done using them we usually give them to someone that needs them if we are only using them for a wet ride.

Great idea for the sundress to avoid chafing!! I love my sketchers too but can I ask, do you wear socks or no show liners with them? When I wear mine bare footed, my feet get really sweaty and hot. Not sure why!

I thought I was the only one who loses sunglasses!! I never buy expensive ones! Great list thanks!!

Maybe try open sandals. With good cushy soles. I hate hot sweaty feet, and find good sandals or flip flops work better for me. I get the kind with support.

Thanks Sue!! I need to find cute sandals with support! I can't wear flip flops because I flick them off my feet when I walk. Not sure how, I must have an awkward gait.

Love love your blog. The only thing I will continue to do is wearing my flip flops LOL I love my flip flop. I hate socks and will avoid wearing them at any cost I had to wear dresses a few years back as I was 6 weeks pg and was huge and had to wear my stretchy dresses and boy did my thighs take a beating. NEVER again will I wear dresses to the parks

Lush has a product called "Silky Underwear" that's great for thigh rub and smells nice and pretty. It's a powder, but in a small lotion bottle which I haven't quite figured out how to work efficiently, but it's a lifesaver in the summer.

Thanks for that tip!! That sounds better than Body Glide or Gold Bond Powder and it's made for women! Yay!

Im a big fan of Croc flip flops, lots of cushion. I wear capris as I don't feel comfortable in shorts. I do bring some for the really hot days, but I love sun dresses with bike shorts underneath. Nice and cool.
