what to use on cover of autograph book?

I bought a blank 6 x 6 spiral book for an autograph book for DS(4). I want to put some Disney stickers on the cover and maybe his name printed in a cool font. What is the best thing to use to cover the cover once I put the stickers and what not on it? Contact paper? I'm not very crafty as you can probably tell so any help is greatly appreciated.

Contact paper works well. Just be sure you lay it on straight and get all the wrinkles out.
We've made these for birthday parties. You can stamp their name with embossing powder and heat it up.

I brushed Modge Podge over mine. Just do a few thin coats.
