I thought about letting my 9 yo DS try some pin trading this tip to WDW but I'm not sure how to transport them around that would be easily accessible but he wouldn't lose. A hat I'm sure would be taken off and left somewhere. What about some type of lanyard? How do you transport/display pins in the parks for a kiddo who is not very good at keeping up with things???

Most people use lanyards. You can buy them ALL over Disney World. But it will obviously be cheaper if you buy them at home.

Here are some examples:

Also if you are looking for trader pins you are better off buying them at home too. You can find pins for cheap on eBay, but MAKE SURE they are real. It is VERY hard to weed them out online, so just be careful. Good luck!

We just use lanyards for our pins.
As for pins on eBay, there's a huge thread about that here on the Collector's Board. :)

I found some lanyards today at Party City for .99. Yeah! I have been reading over the advice about buying pins also. There is alot of stuff to learn! Thanks for the replies PPs. Anyone use anything other than lanyards??

DD15, 16 in 2 days!! She uses a small pin bag we got her at the parks. but she also wears a lanyard :)
