OP-Where were the first two pictures taken? I've been to Epcot a zillion times, but only have seen the lights in the last picture!

At the Twinkling Sidewalks!

Nyuk nyuk nyuk...

(Seen only after dusk, on the walkway at the top of the hill beside the Big Ball, off to the side a bit on each side, one geometric, one free-form.

You all probably already know this, but those lights are on all the time, even in the daylight.

agnes!

Hmmm... engineer by any chance? :)
No. . . but I'm married to one!

At the cost of Mickey's house??? Ayeeeeeeeeee!!!:sad2:
Yeah, I'm not wild about that part. I'm all for them adding girly, princessy things since I know there are lots of people who love that sort of thing. It really irritates me that they are getting rid of more gender-neutral things to make room for it, though! And I wish they would add an equal amount of stuff that's likely to appeal to adults, teens and younger boys - especially since girls also often like those things, but the other groups rarely really like the things aimed at little girls. It seems to me as though Disney's target audience these days is mainly families with little girls. :sad1:

Oh come on! We are taking over the world on-line! If it ain't on-line, it simply ain't!:dance3::surfweb::dance3:

:)

:rotfl: It does seem that way lately!

Thanks!

The first two pics are taken in the area that is on the left as you leave the park via the main gate not the IG.

I thought Starment was cute. Well thought out! Thanks!:goodvibes

We always call it "Nicky's favorite place to be at Epcot". I think that is the name we should vote on.

The funny thing is, according to a piece I read last year, or a few months ago, the audience Disney is weak on and trying to get to is teen and pre-teen boys! And then they make Faerie and Princess Land??? Hmmm...

We just had a black out and I had to sit here for an hour in the dark waiting to reply! Arg! hehehehee...

Bingo!!!

I am fortunate to still have a 14 1/2 y.o who still loves WDW - but you know, he makes "enough with The Princesses/Tinkerbell/Fairies/etc etc etc" comments.

EPCOT happens to be his favorite park - and I cant help but think it's partially because they haven't girl-a-fied it.

Leave the cool sidewalks (that's what we call them) alone. No names.

hehehehee... I believe that was an advertising campaign for some other park a few years back...

Hmmm... that is a bit strange- though nowadays not so much- used to be the 'old-people's-park'!

But you just named it! QED! :rotfl:

I will be using the 'twinkling sidewalk'!
