what to get a guy for Disneyland Anniversary

ok if this is in the wrong place I apologize but here is the story:

My hubby and I and our 3 year old son are taking a huge trip to the Disneyland Resort to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

Disneyland is very special to us and we took our honeymoon there and stayed in the Disneyland Hotel and everything. We haven't stayed there since and we are staying there this time.

Well I don't know what to get my hubby for our anniversary. We are doing the nice dinner at Blue Bayou by the water just like on our honeymoon night.
My hubby doesn't wear jewelry besides his wedding ring and a watch.

I want get him something Disney related obviously

So guys and gals what do I get him?

(I have a feeling what he is getting me, a clear mickeymouse ears locket with mickeymouse ears birthstones inside that are mine, his and our sons birth months)

How about a nice Disney watch? They have some nice ones at DLR on Main Street, and also in the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney.

Or, if he's not THAT into watches, depending on how much you want to spend, how about something from the Art of Disney store on Main Street? They have some cool ride models and stuff in there. Maybe a little model of his favorite ride? They run in the $150 and up range, depending on which one you choose. Some of them are really cool. Or, a piece of art of some sort for your home, but that has some special meaning to both of you?

Or, in New Orleans Square, in that glass shop, you could get him something etched with your anniversary date...maybe a nice picture frame with your wedding date, and "10 years" and something Disney related...you could put a picture of your family that you have a PhotoPass photographer take in front of the castle or something. Or, you could get him something "manly" like a beer stein, and have it engraved for him.

if you go to the Grand californian you can get him a spa certificate. a day of pampering !!

Not sure he would do the spa thing, I have tried getting him to get a massage and he never will, too ticklish and self concious I think.

I might get him a watch being as the latch on his last one just broke. His favorite Disney character is Donald Duck, maybe I'll have the back of the watch engraved to say "I'll always be your Daisy."

Lol, looking at my wedding album today. Even though we didn't get married in Disneyland we had a Cinderella wedding. Our wedding inviations and all were CInderella, I even had glass (ahem, well clear) shoes.

My DH's favorite is Donald Duck too! There are some NICE pieces of art with DD and Daisy. My favorite one is a cell from Fantasia 2000 with Donald and Daisy holding hands and kissing in the rain.

Good luck! Finding Donald stuff is hard at Disneyland, but recently there has been more stuff!

We had a "Disney" wedding too! It was a few years ago though and nearly impossible to find all the great wedding stuff that they have now... I almost want to do it again.... almost. ;-P
(we had Cinderella invitations too and did our honeymoon in WDW)

I got my DH a Disney tie one year. It's very subtle and from a distance looks like any ol' "proper" tie... but if you look closely you can see Mickey in the designs. If yours has to wear ties to work at all you might look at something like that... and did I not see cufflinks somewhere recently too? I can't remember where that was though.

Or you could get him what my DH wanted on our trip a couple weeks ago... an all-you-can-stuff box of Mr. Potato Head stuff! LOL! That's what over a decades worth of anniversaries gets ya!

I believe there's also a shop on Main Street that will personalize glass items like frames, mugs, etc... I also remember seeing those gorgeous crystal "spun" sculptures of the castles-they were beautiful.

oh I know that store we got our wedding picture frame there on our honeymoon, with Cinderella and the prince dancing, engraved on it of course.

Having trouble finding the Daisy/Donald kiss artwork, I've seen some Donald/Daisy kiss pins that are descently priced but it is always a collector's webpage and tey are never for sale......help?

oooo I see there is an old book out there called "the Disney kiss" and it has a bunch of pictures of Disney characters kissing.

The Daisy/Donald kiss from Fantasia 2000 is a CELL, and I've only seen it at the actual DL park...I've never seen it online or anything like that. It's like $500, or thereabouts.

I don't how big of a disney "nut" you guys are but how about surprising him with a tour like "Walk in Walt's Footsteps"....we are doing it this year....its like a 3-4 hour tour when you get led around the park and hear Walt talk about stuff in a headset, visit the lobby of Club 33, hear interesting facts, and you get a free lunch!!!
