We have always visited late in the year, October- November. Im planning a short stay in June just to get a way. How are the crowds... lots of people there ?

Thanks

Well it is going to be a "little" hotter :beach: Depending on when you go in June you could be there during Gay Days which means above average crowds. Mid-June is when the South American tour groups start to show up. So crowd wise: I say it can get pretty crowded.

We were there late May and first couple days of June a few years ago. It was crowded and hot. But, we still had a great time.

I have been there middle of June and end of August (during free dining promo) - I actually thought it was more crowded in June than August.

We were there the 1st week of June in 2008. Being from South Carolina, the temperatures were about the same as home. You could notice a steady increase in crowds as the week went on but nothing near real summer crowd levels. Schools around here are just starting to let out at the end of that week.

The advantage was Disney had already switched to the later hours. Night extra magic hours were great. Almost no crowd at all especially the later it got. It was also warm enough for the water parks (we usually go in the winter), so that was great.

Much better crowds than in July :) We have started going in the First week of June and its way better.

My family and I are doing Fort Wilderness for thr first time this year. We will be there from June 11-23. Typically visit in October or November so really curious to see how the crowds are going to be.

Welcome DSadler826. Have a great time in June.

The touringplans.com ratings for this week (the Unofficial Guide website) had all marks rated a 1 or 2 (slow) every day this week.

June early on is okay but about mid-month when the northern schools let out is when it ramps up for the summer sunburn season (which I avoid at all costs). I've been in late May-early June but I could feel the difference as I was there.

Of course the Fort pool is always wet and welcoming in June. :worship:
