What to do ?????

We have booked a room and a put a deposit at the Poly with Lagoon View Concierge from Nov.30th-Dec.4th for a total of 1239.00 tax included. Now bear with me, we have stayed at many if not all the Deluxe Resorts and now I'm beginning to wonder if we should make a change for a cheaper rate. I can get a courtyard view at WL for a total of 617.00 tax included or I can get a standard view at BC or YC for about 794.76 tax included. I know this all sounds stupid but at this point my fiance is driving me crazy. Keep in mind we have already stayed at the Poly with Concierge but only in a garden view. Any suggestions or tips would greatly be appreciated! Concierge to me BTW is not that big of a deal! Thanks for any tips, Chip.

If it's not that big of a deal to have concierge I would switch. The WL is GORGEOUS during Christmas time, with the decorations they put up. We also have stayed in concirge at the Poly, and seriously MY opinion is go to WL and save the money for other things! At this time of year WL just can;t be beat. I don;t think I would feel the same way if you were going in the summer since Poly has such a tropical feel, but the WL just yells "romantic cozy winter getaway!"

Hey CarrieBerry, it sounds as if you are right. I've stayed at the WL about 3 years ago and had a woods view and honestly didn't care for it, but the courtyard view seems to be the most popular for some reason. I'm either going to keep what I've got or possibly switch to the WL. I'm also leaning to the YC or BC for a standard room. LOL. I guess I really like the YC or BC because of Stormalong Bay if nothing else but the price for the cheapest would be about 617.00 for 4 nights at the WL versus 794.76 for 4 nights at theBC or YC. Thats tax included for both reorts whichever we decide on. Thanks again, still not sure what to do but you really did help. Thanks, Chip.

I just realized the if you stayed at WL, it would be right about 1/2 the cost as Poly! Wow, I saw that it was way less, but I didn't even notice honestly how much less! We will be at the BCV on 12/1 and are looking forward to staying here without the kids, for the first time. It looks beautiful. Hope we get the chance to use SAB. With the weather in Dec you never know! What didn't you like about Woods view? Have you checked for concierge at YC/BC? I know you said that it didn't really matter, but I was just wondering what their apples to apples comparison was between there and Poly. Let us know what you decide!
