What to do???

I have a package with dining at POFQ for $4154 for two rooms with my discount of 35%. If I change to a value the price would be $4110 for two room without the discount but I get 2 $300 GC. I haven't stayed at Disney in years and loved the look of the FQ, and I've heard such mixed reviews of the Values.

Depends what you are after in regards to your Resort, if you are going to be in the parks the whole day and go back to sleep, then I would stay at a value. If you are going to be hanging around the resort and using the pools and enjoying the grounds then POFQ is beautiful, we have stayed at POR twice and are going back next month. We also enjoy having a fridge in our room, you get that at the mods.

If you are just using the resort to crash maybe the $300 is worth changing over.

If I switched to the Value, I would get two GC which would be $600. Which is ALOT of money for us. We would use it on a dinner, tips and gifts, but it's money we already planned to spend.
I'm not sure how much time we are going to stay at the hotel because we've never been.
I like the fact that FQ is small, we can go to Riverside, the carriage ride, the boat to DTD and that the bus wouldn't be as crowded as the Pop.
But.... $600 is $600.

I would say it depends on how long your stay is and what you want to do while at WDW. Also, the weather, if you plan on relaxing at the resort, etc.
As the pp stated it will depend on how much you want to be in the room. You also may want to see what sports teams will be around before booking at a value too.
The moderates do offer some amenities the values do not.
That being said we have had great times at the value resorts, and sometimes better than a moderate.
FQ is a nice resort. I would say of the values, our favorite is Pop. But we had a great stay at ASMo too. Have stayed at ASMu twice, and it was fine.
And for bus service the best I recall was at the values. To me, they are much more organized.
