What to do with Snowman Pasta?

I found the cutest pasta at the grocery store yesterday - - all Christmas shapes (mostly snowmen), so of course I bought it. I want to make a mac & cheese dish with it for the kids on Christmas Eve, but I have NO IDEA how to do it.

The pasta is exactly like the shapes in the Kraft Mac & Cheese shaped boxes (like Scooby, Spongebob, etc.). My DDs want me to just use the Kraft cheese mix! But I want to do something different.

Any good, easy mac & cheese recipes out there?

I make mac and cheese with Velveeta. For each lb of pasta, I use 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, one can of milk and a lb of Velveeta. Cook the pasta, in a saucepan heat the soup and milk and melt the Velveeta in it. Drain the pasta and pour in a baking dish, pour the soup/cheese mix over it, mix it up and bake for about 35-40 min. Yummyu!!

I just shred some cheese and mix it with the pasta and some butter. Or you can make a cheese sauce using butter, flour, milk and cheese. Or buy a jar of Alfredo sauce at the grocery store and make it easy on yourself. ;) I wonder if I can find the same pasta! Sounds cute.

I use velveeta-

Cook pasta
Add a splash of milk
about 1/2 stick of butter
velveeta- depends on how much pasta you use. usually about 1/4 block or so.
Salt and pepper to taste

If it looks too thick, add more milk to make it creamier.

Ooh - good ideas! Thanks!

For those of you who are looking for this pasta, I bought it at my local Wegmans (a fantastic grocery store in the NY/NJ area). It's made by The Pasta Shoppe, and they even have a website!

I'm definitely ordering some for my pre-K students to do some crafts with!!!

I found some Cars pasta for my nephews. Who doesn't want Lightning McQueen and 'Mater on their dinner plates?? :)

You could always just add a jar of spaghetti sauce or alfredo sauce to it. Sounds like a fun dinner!

This is how I do it and DD loves me more every time I make it

This is what I do as well except I don't use Velveeta (hate it), I use mild cheddar cheese cut into little pieces, and I bake it at 350 for 30-60 minutes, until it is brown on top.
