We have a 29 gal aquarium with 8 small fish, 3 Mickey Mouse platys, 3 glo-lite tetras, and 2 tiny albino catfish. I just found a baby platy hiding under one of my plants and I don't want it to get eaten by the other fish. I haven't seen any others, so they could be hiding or have already been eaten. I'm so excited that there is a baby, so does anyone have advice on how to protect it?

and we got a maternity tank addition for them....cause the catfish feasted on them.......it is a netting and you put it inside the same tank

When I was growing up and had baby fish we a separator thing that you put in the fish tank so it was basically turned into two separate fish tanks, babies on one side, adults on the other. Don't know if they still sell that kind of thing or not??

They sell maternity netting or dividers at any Petsmart or aquarium store.

I can't seem to keep ANY fish alive. I gave up. darn ick.
