I've done most of my research for what to do and what not to, but I want the opinion of the people who have had those experiences with the little ones and what is trully the best and what isnt. So I thank those who post to this thread and welcome your advice.:cool1: How much does a Haircut cost in the MK?

ds was 16 months old for his first WDW trip. We did EVERYTHING! I let him eat whatever he wanted [usually cookies, muffins and ketchup], sleep whenever he wanted and everything went great!

When he was 2 years old he did the "first haircut" thing at MK for $20. He got tons of stickers, a certificate and Mickey Ears saying My First Hair Cut.

Kids are super portable! S

We went when DD was 16 months. Hands down, her favorite was "it's a small world." We rode it several times.

She liked anything that you could sit in a car/boat, ride and look at things -- like Pooh, or Buzz Lightyear, or the Mexico boat ride at EPCOT and Journey Into Imagination (also EPCOT). She also liked the train ride at MK, and some of the tamer rides, like Dumbo.

We didn't stop to see the parade while we were there and we were planning to leave before the fireworks, but the kids were holding up so we stayed for "Wishes" and I think that was also a highlight of DD's trip. She was boogieing down in front of the castle. I only wish our video of it had come out more clearly!

I hope you have a fantastic trip!

ETA: I don't know how your 16m would feel about a baby carrier (see avatar picture) but I thought it was fantastic with my 16m DD. We didn't even take a stroller into the park on 2 days. With the baby carrier we carried her right into the line (didn't have to fuss with parking/finding the stroller). And, I think it gave her a better view while we were walking around. In the stroller, she'd only see people's legs!

Small World, Peter Pan (sitting between 2 adults), TTA, pirates, carosuel, Dumbo, Pooh, Primevil Whirl are thing we did with DS on his first trip and he was 11 months old.

My little one was 17 months when we went in January, and she had a great time. She also loved It's a Small World - she got to go on it 4-5 times! Also-- the carousel, Peter Pan, Pooh, Pirates, Pooh's Playful Spot, Nemo ride at Epcot, Playhouse Disney at MGM, meeting characters - esp face characters - she liked to touch their noses and give them kisses, and she LOVED Belle!

She enjoyed the parades, esp. Spectromagic, She LOVED the Playhouse Disney breakfast at Hollywood and Vine in MGM. She even danced with Jojo!

We took my DS at 15 and 18 months. He had a blast! We did character meals, all the rides he could go on, including Pirates and Haunted Mansion, and used our own big comfy stroller for him. He napped in his stroller every day and that's when we would take turns riding things like the mountains and soarin'! My son LOVED Living with the Land, Imagination, and all of the live street performers (esp. the Dapper Dans and Off Kilter). He liked the parades, fireworks, and character greetings. You can have so much fun at WDW with a little one! Oh yeah, and don't forget to let them splash in the fountains -- my son thought they were the best!

Just back today with DS19 months. It was a great trip. Some highlights included:

-Dumbo
-character meals
-holding his hands and walking at "his pace"
-collecting Mickey confetti off the ground
-the light up spots on the floor at image works
-the kiddie pool at POR
-the train

My youngest on our first trip when she was 11 months old didn't like the characters but loved the cast members wearing costumes. And she loved it's a small world.:simba: :figment: :ccat: :mickeyjum :cat: :dogdance: :smickey: :dumbo: :goofy: :maleficen pixiedust: :tigger: :tink: :dog2: :earsgirl: :stitch2:
