What to do the morning of MNSSHP?

I still can't decide what to do the morning before MNSSHP that evening! It will just be our 2nd day there, so I don't want to just stay at the resort. But I don't want to tire my ds(7) out before the party either! I had thought about doing DQ, but it doesn't open till 11:30. So, that wouldn't give us much time. I do plan on resting at the resort 1-2 hours before our dinner ps @ 5:45p @ LTT. Any suggestions?:bounce:

I'm going minature golfing and Downtown Disney.....

I have been wondering the same thing. I was thinking of using some left over "plus options" from previous passes to go to a water park early then come back and take a nap before MNSSHP.

Some time at a water park. Or how about mini golf? There's also nothing wrong with relaxing by your hotel's pool.

We're planning on going to a water park, but it will depend on how our kids are doing. It may end up that we go to mini-golf and DTD instead.

We plan on Typhoon Lagoon from 10 - 2. Back to resort, rest until 4:30, get costumes on and off to LTT at 5:30.

We plan on having a late breakfast and visiting the other resorts to look at the decorations, maybe do DTD and letting the kids rest in the pm. Maybe it will be warm enough for swimming. You say you have a PS, is it in the park? Do they let you in early if you make a reservation? Thanks

We always stay at the resort and hang by the pool. Later we have dinner at either Chef Mickey's or LTT. This year it is LTT. I feel the same way about tiring my DD so this makes for a relaxing day. We also love the Poly pool and hang at it every day anyway. DD would be exhausted if we did anything else that day. She is now only 5 but can't even last til midnight even taking it easy that day. I can't imagine her staying up if we took her to do something else.

We are planning on going to Typhoon Lagoon (weather premiting) till 3:00 and then going back to the hotel to get ready and head to O'hana's for our 5:00 ressie!

we are sleeping in that morning....I have a 10:30am PS at Chef Mickey's, and after that we might take a ride on the monorail, then back to the resort to swim for a little while. Then we are taking a nap, or at least resting....

We're sleeping in and swimming that day! :sunny:

We're just going to relax. We will all take naps (or at least lay down to rest for awhile). We like to stay right until closing, so they are essential.

We do plan on possibly going to DTD in the mid-morning for an hr or so to do alittle shopping. If we feel up to it.

WL pool, dinner/lunch in our 1B, maybe pool hop to Contemp

We have MNSSHP tickets for Sunday the 29th, and we're going to be staying at CSR, moving to BWV that afternoon, so our plan is to sleep in, catch some great pool time, have a nice lunch at Pepper Market (got my Q&C's - ribeye steak, here I come!), then move over to BWV in the afternoon, and get ready for the Halloween party. We're trying out our pirate garb at the Renaissance Festival this weekend, up here in Ohio!

(update - Pirate garb is HOT! Back to costume square one . . .)

We will probably sleep in and catch breakfast at our resort and then swim for a bit before our dinner at LTT, we might actually try and make it to MK in time for the 3:00 parade, we will see!

we are going to mnsshp for the first time::yes:: we are going to relax by the pool in the morning and we are then heading to kona cafe for a late lunch at 2.25 pm and hopefully be finished and ready to go into the party about 4 pm

It will be our 2nd day as well but our first day will be arrival and dinner at CM and probably an early night to recover.

Our first full day will be MNSSHP but I know my girls wan't be able to wait any longer so we will hit MK at opening. I am planning on doing all of fantasyland and depending on crowds the mountains and a few other favorites and leaving before the afternoon parade. I hope this way we can enjoy some of the special events only done during MSSSHP rather than the rides as we will have done them earlier in the day.

I do plan on a relaxing afternoon at the resort and then back to MK for the party.

Were going to MNSSHP on the 12th. We plan on going to Typhoon Lagoon, rest at the hotel, then head over to MK to do counter service dinner & the party!

Perhaps this should have its own thread, but was wondering for all you families out there with young kids who plan on braving MNSSHP as late as possible what you plan on doing the next day. For us, we have a 9:30 Pirate's Cruise (which I think will be tough to get my crew out of bed to attend) and then downtime at the Poly rest of the day. We do not plan on the day-after being a Parks day.
