what to do? - rent a few pts or cash for 1 nt

I just posted about my points dilemma. We are now trying to figure out what we will do with the incentive pts.

We're probably going to do 6 nts. So, should we attempt to just pay cash for one night? And is it better to pay cash for a sun-th night or a fri night? (is there a difference in price? - It's double when using points).

Also, if we end up paying cash, can we "rent" the incentive points? Is that an easy process on the renter's side?

I think DVC cash rates are the same all week (except for season changes). I would pay cash for Friday night.

You don't actually rent the incentive points, you make a reservation and rent the reservation.
