Im wondering what other people did on the day you Arrived at Disney World and the Day You Leave??

We Have Park Hopper Passes for both of these days (Both days are Sundays)...
We arrive at about 10am on Sunday May 18th and leave at 6pm Sunday May 25.It leaves a lot of time to do something in.
We are going to Breakfeast the next morning (Monday) at the Cinderellas Royal Table. So we dont want a late night. Any suggestions on what to do?

I kinda thought it might be neat to see Downtown Disney? (Is it?)
Or to go stand in line for the Fantasmic??

Any Suggestions or What you did for those days!?!

Our flight gets in at 10:30 am and I figure that by the time we take ME to Pop, get checked in, take a bus to Downtown Disney and grab a bite to eat there should still be some time for Disney Quest for my son and husband. Then an early dinner at Raglan Road, back to Pop and early to bed.

On our last day we also plan to go to Downtown Disney, have lunch at Earl of Sandwich, maybe do a little shopping and then take the bus back to Pop and catch ME back to the airport for a 6:45 flight.

Those will be our only 2 trips to Downtown Disney and I think it will work out just right.

Well it does depend on the time you arrive and leave. In your case, FOR US, it would be park hopping on both days. That being said we usually arrive later in the day, so we typically soak in the resort for a bit, then go to Downtown Disney. Then on departure day, we'll go to the closest park at opening and spend an hour or two there. This past trip we couldn't do that cause our DME was leaving at 8:30am :sad2:

not even back a month and missing it like crazy :sad2:

Our flight gets in at 11am so after checking in,we will be heading to a DHS, trying to get on a ride or to and then we have and ADR for 7pm. Hopefully after that we can catch Fantasmic.

our return flight isn't until 8pm, so we will check out, and head to a park hoping to get on anything that we missed or want to do again. We have lunch ressies for about 1pm. After that, we'll leisurely stroll around and head back before catching ME.

Our ideas are a lot like everyone else's: soaking in the resort some (SAB here we come!), then walking over to EPCOT (our FAVE park) for some shopping and dinner. Last day we'll take it easy again - have breakfast somewhere nice and then soaking in the last of it before leaving. No running around in this neighborhood - taking time to enjoy things instead of running from reservation to reservation.

We do the same thing EVERY time. I guess we're creatures of habit.:lmao:

Arrival day, (doesn't matter what time) we just enjoy it all. We take our time to unpack, the kids run around and check out the resort, eat a leisurely dinner talking about the days ahead. We spend the day just soaking in "our first day of vacation". NO RUSHING AROUND!!!

Then it's non-stop action for however many days we're staying...

Until departure day. Then we slow it down again. We always spend the day at DTD just shopping and eating (always at Earl of Sandwich) and soaking in "our last day of vacation". Since we go non-stop, we cut out 2 days of parks, first and last, and go like crazy in between! :rotfl2:

We usually arrive at either 5 p.m., or 11 p.m., so our first day it's usually stop off at Super Walmart for supplies and then onto resort to check in. If we get there at 5 ish, then we have a late dinner at someplace like Kona.

Our our last day, last 3 trips, weve had a late breakfast (twice at PF, last year at 'Ohana) and taken our time. It's nice to do it late since you pretty much have the characters all to yourselves! :goodvibes

If I had an AP I would probably go into the parks on the last day, but with our non-exp. PH, I don't want to waste a days tix. We usually have to leave for MCO about 2 pm to catch our flight home to ONT.

After we eat, sometimes we'll ride the monorail around to the resorts and visit them. Also we then will make a stop at DTD to grab some last minute snacks, souvenirs, etc. That's how we do our last day. :goodvibes

The last time we went, we arrived at POFQ @ 3pm. We had ADRs for Chef Mickey's @ 6pm, so we spent the time in between looking around the resort. Oh, and I think DH had to watch a Patriots playoff game in the room. ;) :rotfl: :happytv:

Our last day, we went to MGM, which we liked, but didn't love. It was our first time there, and we had to leave by 2pm.

This time, we should get to our resort (Contemporary) by 1pm. We plan to visit MK and see the 3pm parade, walk around a bit, not really do any rides, and have dinner with Pooh and pals at Crystal Palace. It's a MNSSHP night, so we'll have to clear out by 7 anyway. We will have a quiet evening, but we can try to see the fireworks from our hotel if the girls are still awake.

This time, we plan to have a leisurely last morning (following a late night.) We'll attend a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then visit our favorite park or DTD (I plan to encourage DTD!)

We go right to MK...need to see that castle first thing...spend the day there including and early ADR and then back tio the resort and early to bed. The last day DTD is good for shopping or if you have time lunch at one of the other resorts to check it out.

We hang out at the resort on Day 1. We relax by the pool, eat at the hotel, etc. We get to bed early because we always have an early breakfast ADR on Day 2.

The last day, we check out- store our bags, and then go to DTD to hang out and shop. We always use our Planet Hollywood coupons that are included with a MYW package on the last day for lunch. Then we head back to the hotel for ME to take us to the airport.

If it were us, we would hang out at the resort for lunch and then enjoy the pool. If our room was already ready, we would go settle in first. Probably do DTD that night.

For the last day, same thing, pretty much. Maybe DTD for lunch at EoS, then enjoy the pool one last time.

what would you recomend us doing om our lasy day, we have flights out @ 2:40.... what time would we have to leave for the airport on the ME?

That depends on the time of year you are going. If it's a really busy time, you might be picked up at about 10:30am. However, under normal circumstances, you'd be picked up about 11:30am. Not too much time to do anything. I'd just take your time checking out and hang out at your resort
