What to do on last 1/2 day in Orlando?

Hi
My sister and I (both adults) are travelling to Orlando in November. We'll be there for 4 1/2 days (flying out in the late afternoon). We're planning on spending the first 4 days at theme parks, but wondering if there is anything else we should look at doing in Orlando on the last day before we fly out. We should have all the morning and some of the afternoon before we need to go to the airport. Unless there's a way to only get a 1/2 day ticket for a park?

It's our first time in Orlando, so looking for any suggestions from those in the know :-)

thanks

Jen

You Can spend time @ Disney Springs lots and lots of shopping and Dining Plus you can take Disney Transportation. Are you staying on property and or renting a car?

I'm still looking at accommodation, but probably staying onsite. I don't think I'm brave enough to rent a car - I'm from Australia and used to driving on the other side of the road, so it might be a bit daunting :scared:

If you don't have a car ....... I would just stay on property.
- Honestly I would do a park. I think it's only about $16 more to add another day to a 4 day ticket. Probably your cheapest half day.
- Disney Springs is now a great way to spend some time, wandering, shops, eating .. I would love a half day there to do at a slow pace.
- Resort hop, checking out different ones, eating or have a drink.

Since you aren't renting a car, and "probably" staying onsite, you will "probably" be using Disney's complimentary round trip transportation to get back to the airport. They will pick you up 3 hours before your flight and you need to be out at the Magical Express bus stop 15 minutes before that time. So your half day might be shorter than you have anticipated. You might still have some time to go to Disney Springs Marketplace and do some shopping and dining, but you will want to be at the Disney transportation bus stop 2 hours before your Magical Express bus time, in order to be sure to be back at your resort on time. So subtract 5 hours and 15 minutes from your "half day". Get an early start, and have fun.

If on property ( I think you should do this!) Disney springs is a nice thing to do, there are also two mini golf courses that are supposed to be fun. Just make sure they are open!
You can also take an uber or a lyft to get spa round, it's very easy and inexpensive. You could go to the huge Ferris wheel, (I think it's called the eye) or outlet shopping.

If we were voting for yu, I'd vote the for Disney springs. You can relax, eat and drink, shop....

Adding that if you're don't want to wait for the Disney bus between the springs and your resort, check the uber website and see what the cost will be, it might be worth paying a bit to cut down on transportation time

If you're already spending 4 days in the parks and aren't from the area, hire a car/taxi and see something other than Disney. Gatorland is fun, Ifly Orlando(indoor skydiving) is fun and unique. Orlando Tree Trek Adventure (zip lining) is a great time as well. There are a few great air boat tours in the area, 1/2 day at Universal. There are many great attractions in the area and you are coming a long way. I recommend stepping outside the Disney bubble and enjoying the area.
